I do still love a proper department store like this, reminds me of one of my first jobs working in a department store.
Great place to go if you're looking to kit out a kitchen, or the odd item of bedding, clothing, gifts, cards etc.
Such a shame they closed the cafe though it was a real gem and served the best scones around. Having said that I have lost a bit of weight since I stopped eating there, so not all bad.

It was a lovely experience visiting this store. The outside appearance doesn?t prepare the visitor for what awaits inside. A great selection within the departments enhanced by the friendly knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a visit when visiting Exmouth.

I had a fantastic experience shopping in the Home Linens department at Fields, all thanks to Tony. My Mum was looking for new hand towels and a fitted bed sheet, and Tony was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
He greeted us with a big smile and immediately offered help, guiding us through the options with genuine care and great product knowledge. He was incredibly patient and kind with my mum, taking the time to make sure she had everything she needed. We both really appreciated how thoughtful and attentive he was.
On top of being helpful, Tony is such a funny and personable guy?he had us both laughing, and his cheerful energy made the whole experience so enjoyable. It honestly felt more like chatting with a friend than shopping with a store assistant.
Tony is a real credit to Fields. His warmth, humour, and professionalism set a shining example of excellent customer service. Thank you again, Tony?you truly made our day!

My friend and two of her friends visited this store , from the moment they entered the shop they were followed and watched by a member of staff. These ladies are aged 76,78 and 88yrs old , they actually felt uncomfortable and unwelcome and decided never to go again

Why no coffee shop????We live in Seaton and used to spend about £2000 as year in Fields.No more, first call was always Fields coffee shop and then spend an hour wandering and buying!!!
Needs proper business advice, Urgently!!
PS NOW GO TO OTTER! Free parking good coffee shop AND sell Barbour!
