We have been visiting Great Seaside farm for the past 15 years, the reason for this being that it is an absolute hidden gem ! The accommodation is immaculately clean and fully equipped, Guy cooks the best breakfast we have ever had and the beach is just a stones throw away. A great place to get away from it all and just relax.

What an Amazing find. Made to feel very welcome by Guy. Most excellent host.Plenty of room in the Bedrooms, comfy bed, nice and warm. Loved sitting in the guest lounge in front of the fire. Beautiful building in a lovely part of the world.Breakfast was 1st class. Perfect start to the day. Thanks Guy for your hospitality. We shall be backMark & Pippa ?

The house is delightfully old (the proprietor, Guy, said the original building dates back to the 1300s) and it is situated just a couple of hundred metres from Branscombe beach which has a NT cafe and shop. Guy has been running the B&B for several decades and he?s nailed it. They have two bedrooms each with its own bathroom and it is extremely comfortable (my wife and I were in the upstairs room). The breakfasts are superb and we had bottles of water and fresh fruit in our room. I think a lot of Guy?s guests return regularly and I can see why as it is a very pleasant place to stay. This is an excellent B&B to stay at.

This was a one night stay, but was in a beautiful spot. The facilities were really comfortable. A very nice English breakfast cooked to my liking! what a Bonus! Nice and tranquil. Parking on premises. Down a slight hill for the beach, but worth it!

A real gem in the heart of Devon! An old charming house with a lot of character and a wonderful host. The breakfast was the best we have had in ages! Highly recommended!

We had 2 nights here whilst walking the SW coast path. Ground floor bedroom is huge with a large very comfortable double bed. Fresh fruit and water in the room each day, lovely cooked breakfast, great hosts and perfectly located. You can hear the floor boards occasionally creaking from the guests above but it didn?t distract from an excellent B&B. Booking the local pub for dinner as soon as you can is recommended

Stayed for a short 2 night break and boy was it worth it! In an excellent location 200 metres from the picturesque pebbled beach which has a small convenience shop and a cafe where you can have drinks, snacks and lunch..This is a quality b&b where you are well looked after. The room we stayed in was for a family of three which was spacious, clean and beautifully presented with tea/coffee, hairdryer, TV and wi-fi.The breakfast was a choice of either cereals, full English or toast and a selection of jams, fruit and yoghurt. My favourite was the toasted fruit bread.Locally there are two pubs but at the time of writing we were unable to book evening meals as they had not fully opened the restaurant due to covid regulations.Ideal for those who enjoy walking/hiking.I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Great Seaside enjoying the hospitality of Guy and Amanda. This is a beautiful National Trust cottage run as a B&B by Guy who has spent all his career in hospitality and it shows! The accommodation had everything you could want for a winter break including a really warm bathroom, a log fire in the guest lounge and a very comfortable bedroom. After a bracing walk to Beer and back we had a superb meal at the Mason's Arms in Branscombe. The location of the cottage is only 200m from the beach so we will be back in the Spring.

We had an amazing stay in the beautiful Great Seaside b&b... The house is stunning with so much character and history, as well as being extremely comfortable and having everything you need. It's location is equally stunning being moments from Branscombe beach, a few minutes walk to the village and right on the coastal footpath to Beer and Seaton However the best part of the stay was the hospitality of Guy and Amanda. Guy's breakfasts were delicious (we didn't need lunch!) and his knowledge of the area and funny stories are brilliant. We are already planning to visit again!!

The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They walked up a very steep hill just to let us know that we had left our car?s headlights on. The location is amazing, with breathtaking views. Thank you Guy!
