Great overnight stay. Lasagne for evening meal, lovely room and comfy bed. Generous and delicious breakfast in a warm and relaxed environment.

Came here for a Sunday roast. Served in a carvery manner, but one where the staff dish for you rather than ?do it yourself? (always a sign it?s still quality).
Overall a very pleasant experience. Only drawback was they didn?t have our reservation despite having a booking confirmation. They had a table anyway so it was on this occasion just an admin error.

A lovely countryside pub with a relaxed vibe, tasty food, and a solid range of ales and ciders. The staff are friendly, the space is clean and well-kept, and dogs are welcome. The garden is full of colour, with both open and covered seating ? ideal for any weather. A great spot to unwind.

Visited for first time. Classic stop after the Canal walk from Tiverton.
The good. The food was very well presented (photos attached). Came out in a hot skillet sizzling. The portion of the main could easily feed two people. I ordered what the waitress said was popular: fajita
The bad. My dish was very bland. It looked like it should be bursting with flavour. But.. Bland. I added salt and still didn't help much. From the reviews, perhaps my dish was a one off. Seems many others enjoyed their meals.
I'm just a little disappointed. I expected big flavours and got bland.
If the owner reads, I say these things as hopefully constructive and honest feedback.
I say worth visiting this place and trying it out

Table booked for 2.30pm. Only had 2 carvery meats left which was gammon and lamb. Didn't want either but had no choice so had 1 slice of lamb. They were made aware of this and did bring some chicken breast which was good of them. Bit disappointed that advertised as having 4 meats of which lamb isn't one! 4 meats should be available up until 4pm really. Menu food is good so will chose that next time. Sorry for poor review but was very disappointed

Food was disappointing but a nice looking and friendly place. We ordered the ?Royal Burger.? I don?t know how it can be called that when it is literally a frozen beef patty between two slices of dry bread no garnish, sauce, cheese or anything! And it costs £15! Only saving grace was the good Ale selection. Perhaps the roast dinner is the better option.

I fully understand the pressures involved with all members of staff, especially on such a busy day but to served bloody red turkey, and think they could continue service was outrageous. The chef did come out, apologise but I was just left there standing whilst they served everyone else in the queue. At no point did they offer me another meat (lamb, pork and gammon available) and just completely ignored me. After around 10 minutes, I went back to my partner who had already finished her meal, so we decided to leave. To our surprise, the bar staff tried to charge us for two meals when only one had been eaten. The young blonde girl who cleared our table looked both confused and shocked. And absolute disappointment and won't return in a hurry.

Superb inn. Great food, plenty of space, good service. Lovely friendly atmosphere. If you're gluten free, I've never seen so much choice before. Excellent ?

We Recently had our wedding vow renewal reception at The Globe.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere and service amazing. A big shout out to Aaron who made the day so special with his attention to detail.
Most of the family stayed the weekend in the accommodation and were very impressed.
I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

Absolute gem, food was amazing. We had beer-battered cod and lasagne and best we have ever had. Definitely recommend it, staff so attentive and friendly. Well done ???
