Super quick to be served and everything I have tried has been very flavourful and delicious!

Very disappointed with the pasties we bought today. Tried both the steak and the cheese and onion.
Pastry good but filling for both varieties poor with no flavour and alot of potato/swede. At £5.50 each we were expecting much better. Like in the last few years. Wont be going back.

This is one of those Salcombe businesses who charge a premium, but deliver minimum quality.
Bought bread here on two separate days, both times it seemed past its best and a bit tasteless.
You're better off buying bread in Tesco.

Unbelievably rude staff, too busy talking to each. Food good, but staff let the place down.

Great food but rude staff-too busy talking to each other and not interacting with customers-such a pity rude staff letting the place down

We popped in for a quick bite and the steak pasty did not disappoint and it was delicious. What we loved about it, it was hot ? and full to the brim. It had a good portion of meat and it was well seasoned and tender. They had a lot of other savouries and sweets on offer and would recommend them all if the quality is the same as the pasties. I don't think you can do much about the atmosphere, 1 member of staff, empty shop and no noise, not even background music playing.

The pastrys are delicious that have just freshly been made so they are nice and warm and the food is fluffy and not dry.

Great food had breakfast pastries after parkrun had a sausage roll for lunch speedy service with friendly staff would definitely recommend the bake house to anyone who is in Salcombe. Make sure you get there early as they sometimes sell out.
Parking: There?s a car park down the road otherwise go to park and ride at the tops of the hill

Absolutely amazing pasties but served lukewarm.... Even more annoying as I double checked with the lady serving that they were hot. She said they were... They were nowhere near hot! Shame as full of filling but if you like your pasty hot (or warm!) AVOID!

Not the best one.

Had some pastries and sandwiches from here, nothing wrong with them, but felt pretty average especially given the rave reviews. Incredibly overpriced and somewhat arrogant, rude staff.
