An oasis in the hubbub of Salcombe. Great location with amazing views over estuary. Outstanding service and great local fish and fusion food reasonably priced. Salcombe?s best kept restaurant secret!

Went here tonight. Food was average - waitress dropped a prawn cocktail over our lad and we didn?t get drink on the house to say sorry. Poor lad was covered. Expect more when the price of everything was so high. Nice settings but food was bang average

We visited Salcombe on one of the busiest days, bank holiday Monday during half term, and of course, it was overfull with visitors. It was a very pleasant surprise to find such a good restaurant at lunchtime, one with a superb location that could take a booking for three people with almost no notice. We had earlier had a coffee in a frantic place that had queues for a table and the difference was marked. Dick and Wills is only a short walk from the busiest part of Fore Street east of the ferry but the crowds had not reached this venue.
Service was exemplary, the food just what we wanted and of course the views terrific.
Thank you! It made a really good day visit.

Decided to visit here yesterday with my parents for lunch. I ordered the prawn and crab meat sandwich which was half filled on every piece. At £17.95 this was extremely poor. I never mind spending money on food but when it?s good. The chips were also half full and tasted of old oil. A total bill of £70 for 2 sandwiches, 2 cokes and a small plate.

Fantastic dinner here. The food was amazing and the service friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner here. The waitress was brilliant. The atmosphere was relaxed. There were plenty of options for vegetarian or vegan alternatives.

This is a sensational restaurant with an Asian twist on seafood. Double patty burger ? is enormous, the king prawn aloo gobi curry amazing and the lemon sole fish and chips delicious. Amazing Harbour views but book ahead. Baffled by some poor reviews on here. Even gave me a cake on my birthday. The staff are more than polite and attentive.

Over priced. All other restaurants in Salcombe were fully booked. This restaurant was less than half full all evening. I wonder why ?.£28 for slightly over cooked pasta, £6 for few pieces of bread!! £6 for few olives!!!!? Food generally is good, service, presentation & decor all very good. Reduce the price & they?ll be fully booked all evening!

Not sure what to say about this restaurant. Was rather confused at the men? fish takes on an Indian/asian cuisine? Have been here before and came back to a very different menu. All in all we ordered starters and mains for the table, which was a great mix of sea food - cold and warm.Food was pleasant and rather tasty, portion size was poor for myself and the 8 guests. For the cost of £22-34 price of main, cheapest being £22 I was disappointed with the portion size. Food was yummy though.Again for the starters £13-£20 for a starter and portion sizes were small, you couldn?t share them.An okay selection of wine. The views looked beautiful, but I guess that?s what you are paying for if you are out on the deck, we were inside so didn?t take in the views. Also to mention the fish and chips was lovely - not in too over powering batter!Bathrooms need updating as rather dirty and old.Would go back for a light lunch and make sure I?ve got plenty of money to spend, as this is not a cheap one.Vegetarian options: One veggie option for mainsDietary restrictions: Did not ask about allergies
