If you are looking for a large pub, serving meals, with fruit machines, playgrounds for children, piped music, and the like, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a small pub, with a friendly landlord, tucked away in the lovely Cornish Countryside, that serves a decent pint of Ale, then this is worth tracking down. It is ideally located if you happen to be staying at the Eastcott Lodges, which we were, and you will also have the opportunity to meet Barney, the dog, who just loves playing with children. There is a small seating area outside, for those warmer evenings, although we sat inside, and were entertained by David, the owner/ landlord. There is no food served, and only open most evenings, but suited us down to the ground. Will most certainly revisit next time we are down that way, which is planned for later this year.

Had a great few evenings in the Eastcott arms, David the owner is such a lovely man, has a great knowledge of the area and good recommendations of places to eat, will see you again sometime next year.

Even though it appears that this place is open it currently is closed due to covid alterations for two weeks from asking someone on tuesday 27th april who was working there. After speaking to a fellow hoseasons holidayer we later found out that's it's not too welcoming to those staying in the lodges.

Our second time on the adjacent lodge park so of course had to visit the pub. David remembered us and is a font of local knowledge if you?re unsure where to visit. Barney (his dog) also loves kids so keeps them occupied allowing you to sample a beverage or two ?. If you stop at Eastcott Lodges then visiting the pub is a must! ?
