Terrible service, phone is pointless at Compton plymouth, WELL pharmacy, noone ever answers, my wife was told bluntly a couple days ago, you're husband should wait for a text before try to collect his prescription (i have never ever received a text message regarding my prescription), my NHS app states issued! However, im short on many of my
tablets. I can't even ask over the phone. What kind of service is this?

Busy pharmacy so seemingly not enough staff. Team leader was also keen to tell me she was on her own and insinuated they don?t have time to answer the phone.
Tried calling on multiple occasions to check if missing items were now available to collect. No answer so I added to the ?busy? by showing up and wasting their obvious little time and my own to be told that it?s not ready and to come back later in the day again.
I have to test my bloods 4 times a day for gestational diabetes so have run out of needles from my initial starter pack.
Having had put the request almost 2 weeks ago with GP (and on the same day as visiting my midwife) thought it would be ready.
Processes and time could be better planned.
I?m unfortunately going to switch pharmacies (even though it?s a short car journey from home). I can?t keep leaving work to pick up things I need multiple times when a quick phone call could have saved time and hassle.
Used to be very good, shame it?s become what it has today.
EDIT - I?m having to reuse needles now even though I was told my prescription was ready. Still no phone pick up and still missing my prescription

Can never get through to ask any questions on the phone, They seem to let the phone ring for a little while then take it off the hook.?

Due to the high volume of prescriptions being ordered and staff shortages, there can sometimes be a wait to be served. The staff have the patience of saints with some of the visitors. A little forbearance with the task they are tasked with goes a long way.

I have had so many issues with this chemist, which I am now having to request to move to another chemist.
The doctors have sent down prescriptions to this chemist and everytime without a doubt, the lady at the front confirms ?it is not in?. However, since this becoming a reoccurring issue, I went down with proof from the doctor surgery showing they had issued my request at a certain time/date, the pharmacist STILL continued to tell me they didn?t have it as they have just been given the notification. I did not receive my prescription for another 2 days after this.
I have rang so many times prior getting my prescriptions to try and solve wasting my time and there?s by going up however they do not answer? I have called countless times, I am infuriated and disgusted at how we get treated.
Appalling. Do not recommend.

I don't know what has happened, but this chemist has gone downhill fast. Your repeat prescription is hardly ever ready, and if it is, it is always missing items. How hard can it be to read a prescription? If there are 9 items listed on a prescription, then 9 items should be dispensed. It's not rocket science.Well, needs to sort this problem out.Oh, and don't try to ring them, they hardly ever answer.

Terrible, Doctors have told me my prescription has been there 2 weeks. The very rude lady at the front said its not in stock. This is constant. They have messed my prescription up bad which is not good as I need my medication. I have now moved pharmacy

Went to collect my prescription, to be told it wasn?t there when I knew it was. I stated it was sent electronically and the pharmacy assistant just discovered it and carried on to gather it together but had no communication with to say ?oh yes your right I have got it thank you?. Time for some of these nhs staff to go back to customer service skill training

This pharmacy is left wanting, my fathers GP sent through emergency prescription at 09:30. My niece went to collect it at 10:00 am and was told it hadn?t come through so she went back at 14:00 and was told the same, so I contacted GP who confirmed it had been sent then gave me the barcode and another family member went back with it to be told it was there and been put up stairs for delivery. So through there negligence my Dad missed two doses of antibiotics. We as a family feel let down by the pharmacy and s a result will not be using any Wells pharmacy again. This is not the first time this has happened they did the same with my mothers insulin. Disgusting attitude in this store very lackadaisical.
