Anyone paying a visit to the Vue in Plymouth BEWARE. I paid a visit today, wanting to have, what the cinema promotes as an enjoyable experience. That it was not!!! The seating is excellent, the film was brilliant, but I may as well have been stood in a field, because it was freezing. I reported this to the manager, who said they had very little control over the temperature as it?s dealt with away from the cinema!!! He did ring, he did report it as asked, but sadly no improvement. I will not be visiting again as I can get cold for a much cheaper amount of money!!! So conclusion TAKE A SLEEPING BAG when you visit !!

It's gone down hill over recent years, looks derelict from outside with scaffolding, ticket desk closed, no ticket machines anymore, you buy from refreshment desk. 1 member of staff who looked miserable.Large coke £5.95. A bag of sweets £3.95.Only 8 people in the movie. However, the chairs that recline were very comfortable & for that reason I would go again.

Was in Screen 9 watching The Creator and sat around the centre of the room. It seemed like the projector operator left the main ceiling lights on in the projector room and the light was like a spot light around the area we were sitting.Completely ruined the experience and film. Seems there's always an issue with lights being left on or too bright.A positive is the seats are fantastic.

Now this is how watching movies should be! Absolutely love coming here to watch a flick. We are actually from newquay but always make the time to visit Veu Cinemas in Plymouth.I'm 6ft8, and there is so much room to recline and relax.Buying tickets online super easy, great price, although the price of drinks and popcorn is pretty steep, BUT...Worth it when you can relax like this.Always returning!Keisha and Craig from newquay

Classic Vue cinema, all the big name films with a lot of screens that play all through the day. Good size screen rooms with reclining seats and always clean. Sound and visuals are brilliant but they don?t have any 3D or 4D screens if your into that sort of thing. As a whole it?s a great cinema to watch any new films coming out. There?s also ample parking and other venues for food and entertainment in the same complex

Best seats in Plymouth, probably best priced seats in the country. Why would I talk about the price of the food and drink when I can just take my own?Since they had their refurb shortly before covid, they have hands down had the best set up of any cinema I've been too in the UK. The recliners are massive, they recline so you can lay back, so comfy, you get your own swing out tray. It's a great cinema experience. That, plus the competition with the Cineworld just down the road. The tickets are £5! I mean, cinema was £10-15 before depending on if it was bloody 3d or what not. Also the post covid experience is so easy. You book online and it's the same £5. They automatically book out the seats either side of your booking to maintain social distancing and can only have so much capacity. I almost prefer the cinema experience like this lol.I'm not even going to talk about the price of snacks because if you don't know that cinema snacks are a rip off than that's on you. It's been that way for as long as I can remember and I'm in my 30s. TAKE YOUR OWN.Support cinema.*AmendmentTickets have increased to around £8 I believe now. Still good value for such a comfy cinema with great screens.Keep supporting cinema.

Plymouth Vue is by far the best one I have visited, all the seats are very comfortable and I have never had any issues in all the times I?ve been here. Staff are friendly and facilities are good. Tickets can get a little pricey at times but this is still one of the cheaper cinemas I?ve been to.

So much more convenient than Cineworld with super easy and FREE parking. Also super-comfortable reclining leather seats with footrests and swivel tables. Great sound as well. Won't bother with Cineworld any more. Knocked a star off because, as with all other cinemas, the drinks are stupid expensive.

Oppenheimer, 6.30 p.m . Booked three hours before..only available two together Row A, super saver. Good view but not the same number of seats as depicted on the plan.. Speech often very distorted, muffled, atmospheric music extremely!! loud often drowning voices, found ourselves guessing or trying to lip read at times, several actors drawled, muffled, or fast speech, Altogether the sound was poor quality, executed badly and too overwhelming for the small auditorium.. we were also cold so I was thankful I?d brought a travel throw.. seats comfortable.. magnificent film but subtitles would have helped! Look forward to seeing it on TV so can hear it better. . hopefully

Still the best cinema in town with the most comfortable chairs. Since my last review years ago, this place has really brought up their game. Staff are friendly and attentive, prices are still a little on the high side. But worth paying if you want to treat yourself!

Situated on The Barbican Leisure Park where customers can have up to 4 hours free parking in a large car park.We used to see films here at least once a month but haven't visited since before the first lockdown. The seats in the many screens have had a makeover since we last came & now they are plush, padded leather recliner seats. With little side tables & a drinks holder. Don't visit here if you're feeling sleepy as you'll be so comfy in those seats that you'll very probably nod off & miss your film.Booking your tickets on-line costs about £1 a ticket less than inside the venue but the mandatory on-line booking fee virtually wipes that saving out.Usual array of sweets, pick 'n' mix, popcorn, ice cream & snacks available. Was shocked that a medium Coca Cola cost £5.25 so be aware that refreshments can be costly.

Been a long time since I went cinema.7.99 for a recliner large and comfortable seat .Modern and wide isles for passing along.Enjoyable experienceNot sure about selling Chili hotdogs but got used to the smell after a while.

Paid 8.99 per seat that should have reclined and only one worked. Wouldn't have been so bad but the seating position of the recliners with no adjustment is terrible not good for 3 hour film. Seems to be a waste paying for better seats.

It still beats cineworld, in my opinion! Better seats, which is a huge factor for me. Watched oppenheimer last night and was just great on their big screen 1-9 doors. Pricey confectionery, but such is the way with everywhere now.
