Needed a couple of keys and watch strap replaced so popped in to the Timpson in Sainsbury's, a lady called Kathy served me, was very polite and helpful in fixing the watch, i enquired about a few of the other services they offer as well and have me some good information will pop back soon. Used a few times in passed and always had a good service from them.

Shocking experience. Dan who works there is rude and abrupt. When I was quoted £10 (in a blunt manner) to pop the back of a watch case on I responded with 'that's ridiculous' at shock to the price and not to Dan the worker as I was quoted less elsewhere. Dan then walked away and muttered "well if you had the tools you could do it yourself". Timpsons tag line of great service by great people failed here in two ways. No great service and a person who requires some customer relations training. Disappointing service.Update; Timpsons Customer service agents resolved this issue. They were helpful and friendly and provided me with great customer service.

My Car key was low according to my car, but in the past this has not been correct.I asked Dan to check the battery before he replaced it, as I did not want to get a new battery if it was showing as full. He said is £10.99 ok, and without thinking I said yes, but I had asked him to verify the battery first.He told me that the battery was almost full and ok, but without me realising it, he had put in a new battery.Then he asked for £10.99 and passed me my keys and the old battery which did not need replacing. I was annoyed, as I specifically said I wanted to verify the battery first.He also gave me the old battery, which is very funny, as what was I supposed to do with it now !!I suppose I could have taken the new battery out and put in the old battery as it was still almost fully charged still rofl...... not!I will never use Timpson's again, as I feel I was tricked into replacing a battery which was still pretty full.VERY POOR SERVICE ! ! !

Had a key cut at another timpsons and the case developed a crack which was making it fiddly to start my car. The gentleman here replaced it immediately as per the timpsons no quibble guarantee. Thank you.
