Really disappointing!! We waited over an hour and half for our food! When we queried why it was taking so long the bald man at the bar who I?m presuming is the manager was so rude! Never have I ever been spoken to in such a horrible way clearly he doesn?t have any customer service skills whatsoever! In the end we asked for a refund and left along with four other tables all requesting refunds due to the long wait times. If the kitchen is under staffed it might be a good idea to stop taking further food orders if you?re unable to fulfil them! Both the food and drinks were ridiculously overpriced (£4.20 for a Coke!) I will not be returning due to the rudeness of this one member of staff who told us it wasn?t his problem.

Went here for a Sunday carvery and what a meal it was brilliant very well cooked and delicious. Service at the was good to. Toilets clean and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors . Lovely well laid out beer garden with a superb play area for the kids. Massive car park too. Highly recommend you book if coming for a meal.

Great family pub. Outside seating and a safe children's play area. Inside, it is lovely and spacious. The staff are always friendly and most of all welcoming. Excellent food and great choice of beers etc. Well done everyone.

First time being here after being under new management. Lovely decorated and very friendly staff. We had a ploughman's sharer. It was amazing! 10/10! Coming back!!

Wow! We went down to the Plymmy for a few drinks and a bite to eat and we were cuisine avalanched by the best Ploughman's in the northern hemisphere! The Chilean sauv blanc is excellent, sadly the Doombar bitter wasn't available but the Alpaca session IPA more than made up for it. Then the HUGE ploughman's! Brilliant food, especially the ham, excellent value for money and a fantastic night out! Three cheers for the Plymmy!

A great local pub in the heart of a village community. New management and a new menu. Seemed really popular and has a children?s playground outside. Ample parking to the rear.

Our first visit today. Initial impressions were good. Unfortunately looks can be deceiving. We were the first in for lunch, we ordered our food and waited. That?s where the issues started. There were several issues from this point, from us receiving our starters through to us eating our mains. However, I spoke to the shift manager who was very apologetic and resolved as many of the issues as he could. Thank you Chris!
Luckily Luke, the area manager, was also in. So we had a good chat with him. His attentiveness and approach has changed our experience from ?never again? to ?yes, we will give it another go? can?t thank you enough Luke, you are a true credit to the higher management team!

After checking out the sister pub in Wembley, we thought we?d give Plymstock a shot for lunch today. Things started off great with friendly staff! We ordered our lunch, which included starters. About 30 minutes later, one of our starters arrived, but not the rest of the party. After 8 minutes, we asked a staff member where our other starters were, and then a couple of minutes later, they finally arrived. Since we were the first table in the pub, I wasn?t sure why it took so long. Halfway through eating out starters, our mains were brought to the table for some unknown reason. They took them away, and we later found out it was a kitchen error with the tickets.
We asked for a jug of water, and it arrived, but unfortunately, the young lady who brought the glasses did so with her fingers inside each of them.
We brought this up with Chris, who was very apologetic.
Luckily, Luke, who we met at the Odd Wheel, has been promoted to area manager and happened to walk in while we were there. He remembered us and came over to say hello. We told him about our issues, and he was exceptionally apologetic and offered to discount our meal. He said he will make sure it doesn?t happen again to future customers.
The actual food was of a good standard and enjoyable, but the service issues were a bit of a letdown. We were happy that things were resolved for us while we were there.
Luke is a credit to the business.

We visited the plymstock inn today (Sunday) They only serve carvery & children's food on a Sunday but that was fine for us as the carvery was incredible! Tasty food with the choice of 3 meats (can have all 3 if you like) The food has such taste, felt like it was cooked to order for us rather than carvery style. Reasonably priced too. 100% recommend
