I put an order through Uber was told nearly an hour later that The Pasty House could not deliver my order and just cancelled the order. They didn?t even phone me to ask if I wanted to change the food with anything else. They don?t have a glue how to deal with customers. Definitely need training on customer service or just employ people with common sense. I will never use them again because whoever is working at the shop today are just very incompetent.

Staff are polite and they have a good variety

Gone down hill since it?s been under new management. Menu is greatly reduced and they?re not doing their famous ice cream milkshakes anymore. No table service anymore, everything is served in bags with no cutlery. Place was dirty too.

Just a coffee this time. Very nice. Great place to relax and watch the world go by from inside and the nice outside seating.
Parking: Any of the carparks. Usually use Drakes Circus one.
Kid-friendliness: Fine
Wheelchair accessibility: Not much room inside but loads outside

Came here a few times. Pasty was mediocre at best and gave me heart burn afterwards. Saw online they offered chips, so thought awesome great bite for lunch without the queues. Well I was right got straight in but the wait for chips was about 20 minutes, the staff seemed put out by this request which was very off putting for sure but the chips were nice I suppose. I won't be coming back, atmosphere isn't nice either.

This used to be a favourite of my wife and I. Sadly everything has changed over the past few months. You no longer have the opportunity to pick your baguette filling and watch it made. No salad with your pasty or sausage rolls, no china cups or plates and, for me the coffee has fallen off a cliff flavour wise!
I accept businesses need to change and adapt to their market place but the empty tables and fall in the customers sat outside says to me that not all changes are for the better. Whatever business you are in you are dependant on the continuing loyalty of your customers. Sadly until The Original Pasty House considers it once loyal customers I for one will not be returning

It is a lovely café but they have got rid of china teapots, plates, cups and saucers. Everything is served in paper bags and take away cups.
Parking: Armada way.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very limited.

Awful pasty, having not been here for a little while, I didn?t realise you no longer get plates and cups. Wooden cutlery are useless.
The pasties are absolutely awful. I brought a friend here because The pasties were always lovely. This time they?re like rubber hardly any meat and tasteless.
Personally I wouldn?t bother again.

Used to come in here alot and enjoyed thier toasted sandwiches with a bit of salad. Came in today to have a cardboard cup of coffee and a bag with my toastie in ?? If I wanted my sandwich in a bag with no salad I'd have gotten a takeaway. Another customer lost I'm afraid....no fresh food, everything served in a bag...we will go somewhere else that serves food on a plate at the table next time

Paper bag paper cup no plates. Lots of empty tables. That says it all. Used to wait for a table. Changed for the absolute worse. Awful experience. Shan?t ever go back

What have you done to this once very nice shop, before the changes this was a nice place to have a nice snack. Now all this has gone and in my own view, you don't worry about loyal customers. And all you think about is profit before anything, what about the staff you let go. With out these hard working staff you would not have a business . So with this in mind I will not be visiting any of your shops again.
And just one thing more thing when you answer, are reviews don't past of the same answers. Tell the people in the other reviews what is really going on. If you carry on like this in other shops, you will be broke and out of business very soon.
Totally disgusting

Not the same as it was ,no table service no plates for food just pick a sandwich and drinks in takeaway cups even if you eat in, not the same friendly atmosphere as it used to be

Having been to Cornwall for many enjoyable holidays and sampling many Cornish pastries I was very disappointed with the pasty I bought today.. there was very little meat/steak in the pasty not making it value for money at £4.95.

As a loyal customer to the pasty house I was very upset to see they no longer sell fresh food. I used to visit this place for most lunches but i now will no longer be returning as it is now the same as every other pasty shop. However the employees are still trying their best and are as helpful and kind as ever.

I feel obliged to write this review to give feedback on my recent experience at the pasty house. This café used to be one of my favourite lunch spots, but I am saddened that with the change of owner, everything has changed for the worst. There?s no longer any fresh food - I used to love coming in for a plated salad, or even sometimes a panini with a side salad. Unfortunately as of late, they only offer takeaway which completely defeats the point of the place. There?s about 20 takeaway pasty shops in Plymouth, and now the pasty house feels no different to the rest. The staff are evidently trying their best and I can?t fault their hospitality, and the sandwich I had was still rather tasty, but I have to say that I won?t be returning in the future. I hope things change again soon, as I do believe that the new system is a terrible business move that they might learn to regret.
