Went for lunch with my disabled friend. Female member of staff, was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. My friend enjoyed her scampi and chips, my fish and chips... the batter was lovely and crispy, but it was a VERY small piece of fish inside. But overall enjoyed it and would return.... just more actual fish next time please.

I think this roast is quite possibly THE best roast I've eaten (apart from my home cooked ?) The meat was delicious, the Yorkshire pudding was epic, the veg was delightful and the portions were huge. The service was excellent, happy ladies w9th big smiles. Its the first time I've been even though its literally only a short walk from my house, I really don't know why its taken me so long to visit but I will ceeta8nly be back soon ??

My partner and I came for Sunday lunch, my partner had a starter which took approximately half an hour to come, then we had to wait a further twenty minutes for our roast, after another long wait with empty plates in front of us the waitress eventually came to clear our plates and asked us if we'd like to see the desert menu, we said yes please, after waiting a further half an hour we got understandably fed up and asked for the bill. The food was delicious but the service was a joke. And it wasn't particularly busy either.

Nice food but awful service. Four bar staff much more interested in chatting amongst themselves, no mention or updates about the huge wait times for food, no effort to get the bar queue down, all rather amateurish. At least they were having a lovely evening. This pub was a regular for me a couple of years ago but will not be going back. There?s a fantastic foodie pub just up the road, The Foxhound, in a completely different league. Give this one a swerve.

First time here and not the last. Sunday roast was amazing the best ever had. All the meals came out at the same time and pipping hot. Staff were happy and friendly. Couldn't fault a thing. Thank you

burger left without sauce and ordered and ordered an hour. before hand to include jalapeños only to be told when served that they had ran out of jalapeños and sauce to be added once 7/8th through the burger

It took a very long time for the food to be served, only to come lukewarm out of the kitchen. The burgers were burnt and really dry. We saw other food being served that looked quite good, but unfortunately ours was not nice.

Popped in for family lunch today and wasn't sure what to expect. We had fajitas, hunters gammon and scampi and food was lovely. Nice portions, good service, can't fault it.
