Went for lunch with my disabled friend. Female member of staff, was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. My friend enjoyed her scampi and chips, my fish and chips... the batter was lovely and crispy, but it was a VERY small piece of fish inside. I think this roast is quite possibly THE best roast I've eaten (apart from my home cooked ?) The meat was delicious, the Yorkshire pudding was epic, the veg was delightful and the portions were huge. My partner and I came for Sunday lunch, my partner had a starter which took approximately half an hour to come, then we had to wait a further twenty minutes for our roast, after another long wait with empty plates in front of us the waitress eventually came to clear our plates and asked us if we'd like to see the desert... read full comment
