Security and staff l great apart
From one woman. I went in earlier and got
Some paracetamol and was all fine she put it through. I just went back in and my boyfriend (22) got a monster, she wouldn?t let him have it as he was the only one with ID. I showed my university card but she was having none of it? I don?t know what 15 year olds she knows attend uni? seeing as you have to be 16 to buy a monster. You have to be 18 to buy paracetamol though? So I?m not sure how I can be 15 and 18 at the same time?. I?m 20, just found it laughable how stupid she was.

Horrid experience with worker mansplaining IDs to me and when i returned my item since one of my 5 friends only had a photo of theirs (for an energy drink not alcohol ) i was left waiting 5 minutes before my machine was attended to making me late for my coach. Unbelievably rude and never had such a difficult experience in any other Tesco or store.

Same rude behaviour from the same miserable lady. Shocked to see it?s being going on from so long and to so many people.

Horrible service from the old grumpy lady Lisa at the desk when doing a parcel drop off. There was a que of customers waiting to be served and she decided to leave her till unattended to look at a sports car outside ,whilst we all stood there waiting. She is always passive aggressive during parcel drop offs , I try to avoid this store because of her.

I regularly order my parcels to be delivered here as I?m a full time worker and I?m never home to receive parcels, when I realised Evri had been installed in this shop I was happy as this would save my parcels being stolen/missed etc. however, there are a select 3 members staff who are extremely rude as soon as they click you are there to use the parcel service. I?m often met with a heavy sigh, change of demeanour, cattiness, snide comments. Even the regular security guard attempts to help in communicating between customer and staff for parcels but clearly they?re totally unappreciative of his help. It?s gotten to the point where I actually dread the walk down as I know I?ll be treated terribly but it?s just too convenient for me to change. Hopefully the staff will have better training asap as it would seem a regular occurrence!

Twice now we have had appalling service from Lisa at the desk. Looking at the comments I don?t think we?re the only ones.
On both occasions we have dropped off parcels for Evri collection. Almost seems as though this is an inconvenience for her.
One the first visit my wife went alone and came back in tears from how rude Lisa was. First time dropping one off. Wasn?t aware you had to print the label at the other side of the store and was made to feel like it was her fault she didn?t know. Lisa then summoned her to the end desk, scanned the parcel, chucked the device in front of her to sign and chucked the parcel in the bin liner below. Being a heavy parcel my wife was taken aback. Lisa obviously realising my wife?s shock proceeded to say ?oh I didn?t mean to drop it that hard!?
Thought it was a one off. We all have bad days!
I took a parcel in today. Saw her ant the desk annd wondered how it would go this time. Interestingly she was very chatty with the customer in front of me. The moment she saw my parcel (labelled in advance) her mood suddenly changed. Again as though it was an inconvenience to her. Knowing how she treated my wife last time, I made a point of being friendly. But I received the same treatment.
Working in retail management myself, I find this customer service appalling! If it?s an inconvenience don?t do the job. I?m not one for making a scene at the store but I?m sure someone else would have responded differently. This is definitely something I would encourage the store management to look at as it seems to be an ongoing issue your customers are facing!
It would be nice to have a reply to this, but I imagine it won?t be the case.

Really horrible experience. I went to the front desk and asked to collect my evri parcel to which the lady on the desk sighed and rolled her eyes. It had been ordered by my mum who lives 4 hours away so I only had photo evidence of her id, however I also had email proof of the purchase and delivery. She was incredibly annoyed and said she didn?t have time for this, I?d have to ?stand over there? and wait to see what her colleague had to say. I had to wait 30 minutes for my parcel. When her colleague brought it over she pointed at me and said ?it?s for that girl over there, you can deal with her?, whilst shaking her head. I was really friendly and gave her no reason to be rude. I was made to feel that I had caused them a massive inconvenience to enter their shop. Will order my parcel elsewhere in future.

Great selection of groceries. All in all a great little local shop. Most of the staff are really friendly and accommodating but unfortunately some members of staff see you as an inconvenience when they have to serve you,and boy do they let you know it. Not everyone uses the self service as they only deal in cash. Please educate your staff and open their eyes to the fact that some people prefer to use cash. If you do not wish to serve the public or see them as a problem then maybe you should not work for or represent Tesco. Remember we pay your wages

Incredibly rude member of staff called Lisa. I asked to collect my evri parcel to which she replied with a large sigh, an overly expressive eye roll and said ?postman pat at your service? with a large huff. Unbelievably rude and as a Tesco colleague myself, cannot believe the lack of respect at the work place shown. What a rude lady, somebody needs to do their customer service training again?

Whilst in store I overhead the female cashier verbally slatting the foreign customer she just served because his English wasn't great. I understand he was difficult to deal with but no need to slate him for everyone to hear. Unprofessional
