This store sold moldy food and refused to give refunds because they thought consumers were cheating them.
Before I go into the cause and effect of the incident, I'd like to teach the store manager to recognize the difference between orange and easy peelers.
1. easy peelers like them name, easier to peel, while orange peels are tougher.
2. easy peelers are pebble shaped and softer, orange is rounder and slightly harder.
I think adults with basic common sense can tell the difference between these two fruits, but the store manager of this store who lacks common sense thinks that moldy easy peelers are ORANGE and refuses to give me a refund.
What happened is that I bought easy peelers and small tomatoes from this Tesco on 4.24 at around 11am, when I went home and peeled and ate half of the easy peelers, I noticed that the remaining half of the pulp was full of green mold, I immediately threw all the fruits in the trash; in the afternoon I decided to go to the supermarket for a refund. I accidentally put these spoiled fruits into Morrison's orange packages, which I had inadvertently failed to check; the store manager looked at my package and told me that it was not a product of their store, and after realizing that the package was incorrect, I immediately went back to my residence and found the correct package in the trash can, but at the moment the store manager was telling me that she thought that I was taking Morrison's easy peelers are fraudulent, even though I showed her that the Morrison's package was orange and not easy peelers and told her that it was not the same product, she still believes that the two different types of fruits are the same and keeps repeating that I'm lying; despite the fact that she's already gone to check the CCTV and verified that my easy peelers were bought at Bought from this store.
Refunds are not important to me but with this store manager questioning my integrity and a real lack of common sense, I will be taking as much legal action as is feasible and reporting this matter to Tesco HQ as retail store managers should at least choose a suitable person who is able to tell the difference between the types of goods and this store manager is clearly unsuitable for the position and I will be defending my rights on an ongoing basis.

seems like nobody actually works here, baskets are always piled up on the self service machines and there?s almost never a staff member in sight, usually a 5-10 minute wait to be served or to have an age restricted item approved

Experience with a very rude staff member today (piercings and stretched ear) she was clearly not enjoying her job, and was very rude when serving. Please retrain her.

Absolutely unprofessional the way they treat customers more than a few times I've been witness too unhelpful and downright wrong dealing with the public
