The quality of our sofas and carpets are fantastic but there has been a lot of errors along the way. We dealt with a gentleman called Jack in the Plymouth store who was very helpful but that's as far as it goes with the customer service being good. SCS supposedly arranged for someone to come to the house we were purchasing at the time to do the measurements but on the night before it was happening I received a call from them to confirm details but they had the wrong address and also didn't know that we didn't live at the property at the time. As a customer I had to then organise for the measurements to be done when this shouldn't have been the case. The second issue we had was the quality of the carpet in our main bedroom. Where the stitching had stopped it had left a line going right through to the other side. A bit disappointing considering the amount we are paying for this carpet. Thirdly when our sofas were delivered the delivery men said they couldn't get it through our average size door frame and left it in the hallway for us to deal with! Their advice was to either take out our bay window to get it in or send it back and get it taken apart for £150. Once they had left my partner twisted it a different angle and got it through with ease. Not happy at all with this service and all we get is an apology when we called up to complain. As a whole, this has been shocking service and I won't be buying from SCS ever again.

Pushy sales person made me feel very stressed. Only went in to browse and said as much but was followed around and constantly interrupted by a sales woman. The experience has actually put me off from buying a sofa from here.

Shocking, absolutely terrible. Sofas were supposed to be delivered over a month ago. They rearranged for delivery tomorrow. I?ve had my current sofas picked up and disposed of, only to find out that our sofas have been delayed again for another week. I now have no sofas in my lounge, I have had to find care for my one year old son because of the swap around which was a waste of time and money. Staff on the phone are useless, they lied to my partner and said the sofas were off for a 3-day clean (which another employee told me doesn?t even exist) tried to make a complaint but they?ve made that near impossible. Wouldn?t recommend SCS to anyone, hopeless and incompetent. Don?t lie, speak the truth, it?s as simple as that. Plymouth branch for anyone who?s wondering.

Very poor customer service, would not recommend this company to anyone after the way I was treated today , when they make mistakes and then expect the customer to just take it, do not deserve to be in business

We visited several furniture places yesterday and chose to come back to ScS today to make our purchase of two 2 seater sofas. Staff were friendly and informative without being overbearing. We were able to take time making final decision and were given guidance about preffered fabrics and colour etc.There was a very good variety of sofas to choose from and everything was clearly marked with options and prices.First time I've made a major purchase without leaving the shop and feeling unsure ten minutes later! Very happy so far with the store and the staff. Will leave another review once the order has been completed and is in situ!

Absolutely shocking from start to finish. Don?t even deserve 1 star. Was promised carpet would be laid before new sofa arrived which didn?t happen and then promised carpet to be fitted first thing, fitters didn?t turn up til late ( not there fault thou) SCS said we would be first job, one price from SCS for carpet to be fitted and a difference price from the fitters. I felt like once ScS had our custom and money, their customer service was none existent.

Amazing experience , Leanne the sales rep ( with the awesome feet tattoos) was very knowledgeable about sofas, and advised us on different fabrics. Nothing was to much for her . She allowed us plenty of time to choose what we wanted. Thankyou Leanne for serving us.

I would not recommend scs as they are quick enough to sell you stuff and take your money,But when it comes to receiving your goods they move the delivery date later so when you decide to go and pick your goods up from the store you need to tell them you want your delivery charge refunded but it toke 6 weeks of ringing them every day before they gave a refund and I'm still waiting for 2 more parts of my order to be sent which they just say it's in the warehouse but cant give me a delivery date, I rang customer service today and they told me I'm not the only one having the same problem with scs, so please think twice before going there.

*BEWARE* customer service from start to finish was shocking would not recommend, wrong carpet delivered, then had to wait another 5 weeks for delivery, oh mywhat a surprise carpet did not arrive on day given!! but advised us the fitter said he told scs he had too much work on so unable to complete but we the customer were NOT informed! Refund requested in the end, the manager was not bothered in the slightest about the customer.

Terrible customer service from start to finish would not recommend. Now the Customer service team are completely ignoring us after they made a whole catalogue of errors and provided the most poor service we have ever received.1. They never fitted our carpet on the promised date2. They then constantly sent us random emails booking in fitters without talking to us knowing we couldn?t be home any of the suggested times3. Called the wrong person numerous times even though we gave the name and number of who to deal with. When they did actually decided to call that is3. Very rude on the phone and on online chats4. Fitters left our house and mess, ruined our walls and broke items5. They brushed this off as they are self employed fitters so not there fault6. Now will not answer any of our messages7. 100% would not recommend

From start to finish the service I received was second to none.The sofa is fantastic quality too.It was purchased for our new home and despite many cancelled delivery days coming and going because we still hadn't completed on our purchase, SCS couldn't have been more understanding. .easy to contact and reschedule a new date.Highly recommended and we will definitely use in the future.
