(Edited due to owner response - So first off I'll say the pizzas from here are very often fantastic so don't let my experience put you off, I just didn't enjoy it this time and was disappointed as it was my first time back here in a long time.
If there's one thing I'd ask for is the return of the streaky bacon!)
First ridgeway pizza I've had in a long time due to the price increase (a while back) and I was absolutely gutted.
(I know the prices haven't recently been increased in a few years, it's still a lot more than it used to be when I ordered pre COVID, understandably given the increased costs of everything, this wasn't a dig)
The red onions seem to have been swapped to shallots? and the bacon is no longer slabs of streaky bacon.
(It was either because there were a lot more onions than I'm used to or the onions I had just weren't to my taste or how I remember them being from here)
Really didn't enjoy it and it's the first time I've ever stopped part way through a ridgeway pizza. The (what I assumed were) shallots really ruined it as I reckon it would have still been really nice without them. (Usually love onions in pizza)
The owner seems to take some reviews as a massive insult, which I can somewhat understand as they are proud of their business and rightfully so as I've enjoyed a lot of pizzas from here for years pre COVID and price increases (again due to increased ingredient costs).

I?ve been coming back to Ridgeway Pizza since I was a kid. Beautiful family, incredibly tasty & authentic pizza that beats the rest. Service is always top tier.

I remember getting food from here as a treat as a child and it being the best takeaway around with pizza always being perfect. Always fresh and hearty. I?ve came back 15 years later to find nothing has changed! Proper nostalgia! £30 down a full belly and a smile on me face. Nice one!

Helpful staff. Pizza was flavourless and soggy. Dough was an ok texture on the outside but soggy inside. Really didn't taste of anything.

Having arrived in Plymouth, looking for an Evening Meal, checked out Google for a Pizza Restaurant / Takeaway I selected The Ridgeway.This proved to a WinnerFriendly Staff, excellent choice, value for money.Ordered 12" Ridgeway Special, honestly this would feed 2 people, or in my case 1 hungry Scotsman.10 out of 10.Will call again when in the area. ?Vegetarian options: Listed on MenuParking: On Street

Ordered a 14? seafood pizza today, collected on time, well made and very tasty. Would recommend them to everyone. Good value for money. Well worth a visit.
