where to start.
the staff need lessons on good customer service and communications.
they need to learn what time frames are and not create excuses to blame customers
they need to be less hostile and aggressive when talking to young females.
do not recommend plenty of other places available to use instead in the local area.

This place has,a grumpy old man on the deskKnowledgeable and helpful jusymt obviously feed up that day. Let him off he was OK when I returned obviously had his weetabix ? great value for tyres a must they won't rip you off

This is the second time I used Protyre after being unlucky and again they were brilliant.
Today however was especially unpleasant after being threatened by a farmers wife to move my car with a digger if I didn?t move my car with a popped tyre from her farm entrance way and into the road with oncoming traffic.
RAC got me back on the road and straight to Protyre who were fantastic. Their humour and service brought a smile back to my face despite being on the brink of tears. There are wonderful people out there and some of them work at Protyre. Thanks guys. I?ll only use Protyre now for my tyres.

Brought in bike for a mot, failed initially. Neil gave excellent advice for sorting it, talking me through the process of what needed doing. Booked a retest only 2 days later, was done really quick and passed. Super friendly staff. Only place I'll go for bike mot's and tyres.

Had a slow puncture on my motorbike whilst on holiday in Devon. Neil at Pro Tyre had us back on the road within an hour, and he also fitted a set of front brake pads which I knew needed doing. Absolute gent, first class service, and the bike feels amazing compared to the horrible tyres it was supplied with! I would genuinely travel from my home in Bristol to use their services again. Thank you team ??

I would recommend to book an appointment. I had a 2 hour wait to get the tracking done on the car. Very helpful staff though.

Extremely rude reception staff member with a horrible attitude towards myself and 3 other customers waiting at at the same time. The manager was also present and had nothing to say to the member of staff shouting at customers.Not recommended at all, and will not be going back.

Extremely good first experience, got booked in last minute at 1130 this morning. I arrived 15 minutes early and was driving away with 2 new front tyres about 1150. Really friendly and welcoming guys there, will most definitely be returning in the future

I ordered two tyres online from another supplier and arranged to have them fitted with Protyre. I tunrned up at 9am and within 30-40 minutes the job was done as expected. I would like to give special credit to Gary at reception who kindly offered to check my rear brakes and reassure me that everything was OK, without any charge. Much appreciated and I found him knowledgable too. I visited Protyre on 6/6/23 but still a memorable positive experience.

I bought on line an 2 wheel alignment, I left my car at 2 o?clock, estimate time 1 h , so at 3:30 no body call me , so I went to the garage , and they told me that they can?t do it because the system don?t recognise my car ?.? first time ever I hear this ?So they apologise, and give me my money back in 4/5 working days .I lost 1h and half of my day to waiting my car ,nobody call me to explain what happened , my details , number, address all was in the booking?.really disappointed.

Absolutely awful experience. Patronising staff. Telling me the work had been done and its working perfectly to me testing and made no difference. When I took the car back they claim it must be another issue which they don't know how to fix. Absolute joke of a company. Stay away.

Short version ? Protyre Plymouth tried (and failed) to scam me.Read on for full details.I wouldn't normally take my car to anyone other than my usual garage, but I needed rear brake pads replaced urgently and my guys weren't working on the Saturday I had free.So I figured I'd go to Protyre on Coxside as it's a simple job so what could go wrong right???Well 20 minutes after dropping the car off I get a call from the guy on reception saying I should return immediately to discuss the issues they had found that were so numerous it was best to discuss them face to face rather than over the phone.When I arrived back I was told in addition to pads, I also had one caliper totally seized and both discs needed replacing due to a combination of excessive corrosion and overheating ? total cost just north of £600.Sensing I was being scammed, but acknowledging there was at least a remote possibility some of what I was being told may have been true, I took my keys back and decided to wait until I could get into my usual place COOKE MOTORS and have them take a look.Lo and behold I get a call from COOKE MOTORS a couple of hours after dropping it off to say the pads had been replaced as requested and the car was ready for pickup.The look on the guys face when I told him what had happened at Protyre was one disbelief and disgust that they would be so brazen. He went on to confirm that the discs did not need replacing and the caliper had not given them any issue they were unable to resolve.Lesson well and truly learned, I will never go anywhere other than COOKE MOTORS in future and certainly never again to Protyre Coxside.

As a walk in they managed to fit me in quickly as I was in a rush.Polite friendly, very helpful.Would definitely recommend and be back.
