I have been rather fortunate to have travelled all over the UK for various job roles and have stayed in quite a few different establishments over the years.
I am delightfully surprised to the standard of this particular Premier Inn. The parking was adequate (although you have to pay extra to park) but the staff was very friendly on arrival and throughout. The room was to a good cleanliness and better standard to that of other premier inn competitors. The bedroom was well presented with a clean en-suite and seemingly better soap and washing facilities to others that I have seen. The food was good, albeit a slightly slower than expected service BUT this may have been down to the fact that there was limited staff serving food.
All in all. Really good value for cost.
Overall, I will certainly be staying here again for future business travels.

The breakfast is not the usual Premier Inn buffet. Every table complained about their eggs being overcooked.
Otherwise, great location and very clean.
Nearby activities: A short walk to the Barbican and harbour

Hotel lovely and clean, only thing that let it down is the fried breakfast was cold and served on cold plates.

Very nice stay, room was very comfortable and a great nights sleep, room was also spotlessly clean and bathroom was too, very happy, whole place was very clean and tidy, breakfast was brilliant and dinner was too but wish Premier Inn provided a few more staff in restaurant, they did an amazing job and were faultless and friendly but were rushed off their feet and not their fault. Will definitely return to this Premier inn. Wonderful.
Thank you

My new wife and I stayed here with family to celebrate our wedding. The food was excellent, rooms were so comfortable and the staff were outstanding and couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. They really went the extra mile to help us celebrate our big day. The hotel itself is 5 minutes from the Barbican and 10 minutes from the city centre with plenty to offer both during the day and the evenings. Highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Plymouth.

So close to town (5 minutes walk). Clean, friendly and lots to do around the area.
Walkability: 5 minutes to town

We have loved our 4-night stay at this Premier Inn. The staff have been fantastic, so friendly and helpful and consistently going the extra mile to make our stay as good as possible. We have been delighted with the comfort and facilities of our Premier Plus rooms and appreciated the views of Sutton Harbour. The location is brilliant for access to the bars and restaurants at Sutton Harbour and also for visiting Plymouth Hoe. Breakfast has been excellent every day. As an added bonus, the draught Guinness in the bar has been very good. We'd highly recommend this hotel.

Wifi so poor it's non existent which was a shame as I was on a business trip. Air con minimum setting was 19 which isn't cold. Other facilities good and clean spacious - just a shame about the WiFi as I caused me problems

Macy was superb, put up with all the dad jokes and managed a restaurant by herself with genuine charisma and professionalism. Great experience.

Probably one of the worst premier inns I?ve stayed in. We chose to stay here because of the air conditioning. The room was sparse, the towels were stained and considering it?s summer it had a winter duvet! The air con didn?t work, I awoke in a sweat at 3 am as the unit was making a rattling noise and had stopped working. I went to complain and a lovely lady called Caroline helped the best she could by providing a fan, ear plugs, iced water and a sheet to use instead of the heavy duvet. We were moved to another room for our last night and again the air con unit barely gave out cold air, thankfully we?d took our fan with us from the other room! Premier inns tend to have a good standard, unfortunately this one falls very short, it?s tired and the air con units need to be cleaned and checked and serviced. On the upside staff were polite and helpful, but more staff is needed as no one on the check in desks!
Also parking can be an issue as you need to pay for parking, but if you return from a day out and there are no spaces you have to pay again to park elsewhere!

The location of this hotel was perfect- right in the centre, by the docks. It was, however, of a far worse quality than other premier inns I have visited in the past. In a 4 person room, the length of the room went like this: bedside table, double bed, larger single, smaller single, wall. There was absolutely no space between the beds- they were all touching. In other premier inns, there have been two bedside tables, with a walking space between every bed. And then there was the heat. The room was absolutely sweltering, all night, every night (we stayed for three). Although there was an air-con unit, it produced a horrid, mouldy smell which was somehow more unbearable than the heat, so we were forced to leave it off. This meant sleep every night was a struggle. So, after a horrid night, we headed down to the restaurant for our breakfast. We had been told online that there was no need to book- so we didn?t. There must have been some miscommunication, as we were told we should have done this when we arrived. However, there were many empty tables so all was well. The four of us ordered four continental hot breakfasts, and were asked to wait to be asked what hot food we wanted. While waiting, we stacked our plates with the continental? but the waitress never came. We ended up having to leave without the hot food we paid for, as we had plans. Interestingly, however, when the host noticed we were leaving and we explained why, she was extremely apologetic. There must have been another miscommunication of some sort. She was very polite and sorry, a very nice woman. She gifted us some Ferrero Rochers and drinks, and we were in turn very thankful for her kindness. Overall, it was clear there were some issues in management and rooms, but most staff were very friendly.
Rooms: Very very small in comparison to other premier inns, and other hotels in general.
