I have travelled all the way from Cornwall as I have heard good things about the cafe and garden centre got to the cafe tables was dirty plates etc stacked and also no food ran out of everything but banquets won't ever visit again rude staff no notice to say they had ran out shocking left my grandmother very upset

Went on Saturday and used their Coffee Shop Services. The food is always good and hot. The team helped me with my tray as I had my small dog with me. We went outside under the roof space and it was clean, tidy and the area externally was swept and dry for a perfect autumnal day. The garden centre has got all its Christmas Decorations on display and looking nice and full to which is lovely to see as they are clearly ahead of the game for their Xmas Retail Offer.

We have eaten lunch at Plymouth Garden Centre on a number of occasions and have enjoyed it until today - Thursday 26th October 2023. Time- just before 12 noon. We decided to have lunch and we were waiting in the queue. There were two female staff at the checkout. One of them, a lady with short hair coughed into her bare hand not once but again a couple of minutes later. She had no mask and no gloves - in fact, not even a tissue. She could easily have been handling food later on and we were quite shocked. As it was she was using the till and bacteria could have been spread. At that point we decided to leave. Covid is now becoming widespread again but even if it wasn?t this is totally unacceptable behaviour in front of customers at a restaurant and makes me concerned about what could be happening in the kitchen. We will not be visiting again.

Family morning get together after laying flowers in a local graveyard. Excellent service, choice and taste. First time I've seen my brother stuffed - full breakfast (and a half!) Fresh, clean and well laid out, the selection of cakes making it hard to resist them, but they are kept in mind for a future visit....

I visit this place regularly and they have a great selection of plants. The shop items ate fab and its my go-to place for nice cards and presents. The cafe is OK but is the main let-down. The prices are high, tjey still don't have skimmed milk available (I've been asking for 15+ years!) and there is always a long wait to be served at lunchtimes. I believe the cafe could make a few simple changes and productivity would increase, along with customer satisfaction. Overall, I would recommend a visit ?

Was helped in the gift shop today by a lovely lady who I later found out was called Elaine. She went over and above to assist and was so helpful. Excellent service will definitely be making a return visit.

Visited a month ago while in Plymouth visiting family.. The cafe was very busy which wasn?t a problem but the staff member who served me was so rude that another customer commented on it. I explained to her that I would take the tray over to the table and come back for the other cakes and she ended up shouting to me in front of customers almost ?telling me off?. The food was nice but I am afraid I won?t be going back to be treated like that.

Love this garden centre and buy lots of plants on a Sunday or Wednesday as that is they're discount day's,highly recommend to join as it really worth it, we mostly buy cacti,Succulents etc they always have such a good selection, friendly staff,very helpful.Don't mind when you ask questions. Will be going again today, very reasonably priced too, can't wait. Thank you, keep up all the good work your doing,Definitely worth a visit,would not shop anywhere else.

Havnt been for years , surprised at how much it has expanded, huge now, not just garden centre anymore, sells almost everything, gifts, clothes, and a very big cafe with nice food.

Popped into the cafe at the crownhill Garden centre. Bit of a wait to be served, but the staff were very friendly. The food was absolutely lovely, big portion sizes. The cakes are amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Great place, it was recommended by a friend and I love it, git lost inside with all of the great flowers & plants and the present section is fantastic there is something for everyone. And the cake is so so good, we've gone at the end of the afternoon minutes before it shut but the cakes were so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend ?
