“So far brilliant, massive improvement on service no waiting around for over half hour ,a tex when it's ready and a lovely pharmacist and staff ,got less staff but more efficient, you don't stand their waiting and seeing them all yapping and not getting on with job . Great job ? ?”

“The staff were warm and welcoming. The eye test performed by David was efficient and and he was polite and friendly. Lauma, booked me in, took me through the checks and looked after me for buying my glasses. My son was with me to help me choose my frames and she allowed us to look at our leisure but once chosen, she was efficient and professional and I feel she dealt well with the purchase of the glasses.”

“Having carelessly dropped my prescription medications into the sea at the start of a sailing holiday I phoned and enquired if Day Lewis pharmacywould dispense an initially e-mailed prescription from my surgery in Llanelli ( 3 cheers for Avenue Villa surgery and it’s wonderful staff!!) followed by a posted card copy to fulfil legal and NHS requirements.The answer was an instant YES and 3 hours after my original phone call I was collecting my medication.A huge thank you to this wonderful local and almost certainly independent pharmacy as my initial phone calls to Boots ( my mistake!) went unanswered for 8 minutes!!!Please support this excellent local pharmacy!!”

It is genuinely shocking to say the least!They remain professional at all times and have an abundance of patience. I am amazed it doesn't put them off working there!We personally have never had any issues and understand if sometimes an item is out of stock. It's life, right?! It happens.They simply do not deserve the amount of abuse I have seen them endure over the past 6mths.People nowadays are so very quick to complain but what about when praise is genuinely due?! “Moved to this pharmacy as Boots decided to close theirs at Henders Corner. I should’ve moved sooner. Staff are always courteous. Greeted with a smile and a “how can I help you”. They are clearly very busy but this does not get in the way of their customer service.”

“Most of the time, I receive wonderful help and service for them. However on occasions, they seem to ignore phone calls for ages. Today, I phoned 5 times in the morning before being answered on the 6th...I let the phone ring out and then kept redialling. Tonight, I called 12 times and absolutely no-one picked up. This is not helpful when you're diabetic and need to know about medication availability.”

“Very polite and friendly. Seems to be well organised as they are always prompt and precise when serving customers. If I had one thing critical to say it would have to be about need for a good dusting and polishing on the higher shelves. On the whole the place is clean and tidy but on some of the shelves, mainly the higher ones, there is a layer of dust blanketing the ornaments on display so somebody needs to take care of that. Over all I'd definitely recommend the O'Gallagher's and I have too much time on my hands.”

Unfortunately, corporate Boots (powers that be) are on efficiency drive particularly online prescriptions so pressure on local outlets.

If it was a percentage would be about 90% but reviews only allow out of 5 marking.

Products are overpriced compared to larger supermarkets. However, it is local and they stock items discounted stores won’t.

Have been using this store for over 20 years.

Last 12 months been going at least weekly so I believe the review is fair and honest.”

“Staff are friendly atm but the assistants change often. Sometimes a bit of a wait for prescriptions but mostly only when buzy which is understandable especially in the early morning.Onlt two people in at a time which when raining is not good but overall its what you would expect from a pharmacy.”
