Not convenient for a traveler with big luggage or a disabled as you'll have to take a lot of stairs from the entrance to your room, and/or the incline walkway from the parking lots to the hotel.Our room was on the 3rd floor and after getting out from the lift, I had to walk to my room where I had to carry my huge luggage up and down as a little stair was on the way.This place has a swimming pool, steam room, and sauna room. Changing rooms is not for the shower because you have to press the bottom for the shower like a sink and the water will run for a few seconds, more like just a quick clean from the pool.The staff at the check-in counter can give a little incorrect information so just make sure you double-check the information you got.The maid was lovely.

Noteworthy details: Got a £60 fine for parking in hotel as a guest to a wedding as I didn't know you had to sign in at reception explained I saw no signs and I was an oap but they did t give a dam so beware as I felt completely ripped off m grimes unhappy guest

Nice break away, friendly staff, easy to find and park. Room was clean, although bathroom was lacking in decor and was a bit "cell" like.The pool was nice, but in need of tlc - with random weights in the bottom? The sauna and steam room ok, all just a bit tired. Large gym area seemed good although did not go in.The breakfast was lovely and fresh, although had to ask to order.Would stay here again.

Nice hotel the only reason of 3 star not 5 is that I kept having to run up and down stairs as my key card kept failing not 1 or 2 times this happened but at least 5 different occasions.

Good location but could with a good update. The spa is desperate for some tlc... It's from the 60s. Can't remember a communal shower like that dinner I left school in 1982.

The double +2 single room was clean and tidy. The beds were at different heights, but they were made well and had no complaints of comfort. The on suite bathroom was stocked with soap towels and an unknown liquid in the dispenser above the bath. Room was provided with a kettle with enough to make 1 drink per guest available in the room and iron. The hotel bar had a good range of drinks, seating could be improved, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel had good facilities which included function rooms, gym and small swimming pool; suitable for children and adults. Not much of a view due to being in the town but close to a range of shops, restaurants, and bars. The hotel has its own kitchen, and the menu has a selection of meals.Noteworthy details: One-way systems are on route to the hotel, and the hotel has on-site parking that is charged at rates to their discretion. The hotel is situated near the port with a beautiful lighthouse, a fabulous selection of nightlife, restaurants, and bars. There is a taxi rank in the square, and the hotel was helpful with insight into where is good to eat.

Perfect location for town centre. Service was superb but the hotel is definitely due for some refurbishment. Booked the room with the whirlpool bathtub, it is okay as the room didn?t come with an actual shower and you are supposed to shower with the same tap that fill the tub. It?s just unthoughtful design and it?s impossible to wash properly before having a bath. The shower head was extremely flimsy. The room was dated like the rest of the hotel. But other than these two issues the room was not bad with sufficient storage and seatings. Parking was £5 a night which is reasonable. Will definitely be back again if the hotel gets a refurb.

Typical budget price hotel. Building is aged and in urgent need of a makeover. Room was small, bathroom cramped, furnishings and decor extremely outdated. Extremely noisy at night due to aged windows. Food was bland, bar was simple yet overpriced. Leisure facilities such as pool, gym and sauna were limited use with more concern given to day visitors as opposed to hotel guests.With all due respect, I would not recommend to anyone and will not be returning
