Store is well kept and well stocked. The staff are always helpful and busy. The assistant Lisa is particularly helpful and pleasant, always smiling and nothing too much trouble

Occasionally use this store when passing and for the most part I have had a relatively positive experience. However on my most recent visit it was anything but.I was made to feel my presence was nothing more than a hindrance to the staff stocking shelves. I'm not asking to be bowed to, however an "excuse me" wouldn't be excessive.While I was being served it started with a pleasant enough hello, until I asked to use my student card. I clearly crossed the line because I didn't receive one word after that, not even a thank you or the price of my shop. In fact he was talking through his headset about his preference of coffee to another colleague.I know I only spend a few quid here, but I rather take it round the corner to the Premier from now on where I'm shown a little appreciation and customer service. This review should be one star but as stated I have previously had a good experience.

Was just laughed at for trying to use a coop card, and the card machine or staff being very helpful and/or explaining. Left with a poor experience.Usually a good store.

I bought a packet of crisps and in the bag i got a raw chicken, im not sure how this happened as i hate chicken, when i went in to report i got kicked out because they said i was "pranking them"

Always friendly and helpful it is a smaller store but deal with stock and customers very well. Was once a great bar in its day but nice to see the old chapel being used for the locals
