Nothing wrong with the staff, they were good at explaining things, it's the ethics behind refunds that's the problem, bought a phone a few months ago,paid cash, had to take it back as it had an issue, was given vouchers after phone was tested, went back after a month or so and bought a pc joystick, had to return as there was a fault, was told that vouchers only after tested, I asked for cash back but was politely refused, this isn't right surely, after explaining that original purchase was cash was refused as second item was purchased with vouchers, confusing and won't be back.

Been an occasional customer of this branch over the years up until now. Often stopping by first thing in the morning on the way to work, bike in hand. It?s never been an issue for many years prior, I?ve only popped in if it?s quiet and the store is absolutely large enough that I?m not getting in anyone?s way. The bike?s spotlessly clean and I?m not squeezing down any aisles with it. Unfortunately this time around one of the staff decided they didn?t want my business and told me I needed to leave unless I left the bike outside.
I?m not leaving several grands worth of BMC outside, sorry.

The worst store. You buy computer parts from them and they don't return them. I don't recommend buying anything from this store.

Enjoy going in here when pop into town to have a nose and pick up a new game occasionally got ps4. There is always plenty of choice of games for various devices. There are lots of different dvds available to look through and choose from. The devices and tech displayed all look good and again plenty of choice, and it's all at great prices. Never really been a que and served quickly by a polite member of staff that look happy to be there.

Good place to get DVD and Blu-ray for your home collection but beware many discs are missing or stolen and they have a habit of putting the wrong disc in the box so check before paying....

CEX have defrauded me out of my money!!
They claim an item has been sent to me but; the Post Office have confirmed they have not dispatched the item. CEX have provided no evidence that the item has been dispatched. The store, which was the only one with an item in stock, is still listing that item as in stock.
Despite all of these facts I go back and forth with the online team who point blank refuse to deal with the situation and instead just keep making baseless claims that the item may have been dispatched (despite the fact that the tracking shows it has clearly not been dispatched!!!) and that they never intend to deal with the issue!!!
I accept issues may occur with posting; just acknowledgement when mistakes happen and deal with it!!!

Good shop for dvds and gaming but the appalling queue times let it down . Only ever one person serving , and they are always busy evaluating other customers items , leaving other people waiting for ages just to buy a dvd .

Took an Xbox in for repair on 6th December. Was told it would be back on 20th. It was not back and still isn't repaired and won't be here in time for Christmas. So that's Christmas ruined. Nice one CEX!

The ?manager? pictured litterlay stole from us. They switched the stand in the PS5 that we were trying to trade in for a broken one. Despite me pointing out that the stand had never been taken out of the box (and yet the one they gave us back had obviously been used) and also the fact that the employee checked those things when I dropped it off and confirmed that it was all fine, upon my second visit to collect the money, they had ?checked it all again just to be sure and seen that part of it is broken?. This manager guy then came right over and instantly got aggressive and in our face just for pointing out that this is not the one we dropped off. You would think as a manager that he would want to investigate stealing on his team. I guess he knew about it all along. Stealing from your customers is such a scummy thing to do.

Very poor customer service. Bought a camera lense for my camera after being advised by a staff member in the store to buy it as it has all the features I was looking for, said he was a photographer himself so he knows. Later on realized it did not have the features I was looking for returned to the store with the lense, to return it and get another lense that had the features I wanted. Refused to let me return item to the store said I have to sell it back to them for less money, after I had been advised to buy the item by a staff member in that store. Manager response was "None of our staff know much about cameras so we would not give advice about any". They had to put my lense through a test to sell it back to them and failed the test even though they sold the item to me and I had not used it yet. Had the receipt and everything.
Absolute rubbish. Never shopping from there again. Would highly recommend a different store.
