I rang Boots pharmacy on mutley plain June the 3rd of when my prescription would be ready and one of the staff was really lovely she said it would be ready at 2 today 4th June .
Today it wasn?t ready so I rang again this afternoon and asked nicely but one of the staff was complete opposite was very rude to me i had to the phone down as I was quiet hurt .
She started to have a rant and could tell by her sarcasm she was fed up but there was no need to speak to me like that when I ask a question nicely

Can be a bit hit and miss. The odd member of staff can be jobsworth? others know regular customers well.
Unfortunately, corporate Boots (powers that be) are on efficiency drive particularly online prescriptions so pressure on local outlets.
If it was a percentage would be about 90% but reviews only allow out of 5 marking.
Products are overpriced compared to larger supermarkets. However, it is local and they stock items discounted stores won?t.
Have been using this store for over 20 years.
Last 12 months been going at least weekly so I believe the review is fair and honest.

Absolute waste of a building. Nobody answers the phone and the staff are too lazy to retrieve my prescription from the spine, the barcode is right there!!

The pharmacist (Aida) and counter staff (don't know her name but she was blonde and had lovely earrings) were very friendly and helpful, and calmed my embarrassment and anxiety. Aida helped me get the best products whilst also getting me the cheaper option and answered all my questions. The reviews about wait times, in my experience, staff were very busy and were working hard, I think people need to understand and be patient.

Stood at counter for 10 minutes being ignored. One member of staff brought someone from Pharmacy counter over to the medical counter and served them, then shouted to other staff, I have to go in back and catch up then completely blanked me, didn?t say you need to Que in other lines, just completely ignored me.

You queue for ages, druggies get priority at a special hatch very intimidating. Staff ignore you and their phone is constantly off the hook.

Ive moved from Salisbury rd Boots to this one. The staff at Mutley plain are brilliant. The regular pharmacist there is always helpful cheerful and one of the best pharmacist Ive known. Very happy with the service I receive. Thanks

Absolutely appalling, been calling for an hour and a half and they keep answering and hanging up immediately so they can call out instead (?user busy?). I am in serious pain and do not want to walk to the pharmacy if they don?t have the meds I want - but they WILL NOT ANSWER THE BLOODY PHONE!!
