I would like to say a big thank you to Dawn after receiving a letter this morning saying I changed my account and ringing barclays that told me to go straight in to a branch to investigate this you can imagine I was panicking as to what was happening after waiting for my 3 year old to finish nursery at midday so I could get the bus in we arrived shortly after and I would just like to say after being told what I had cancelled previously wouldn't be the case Dawn assured me and explain that was what had happened. Very understanding lady and very helpful. Many thanks

Less and less service is now available and everything is directed to going 'on-line'. Less opening hours and now closing earlier on Saturday's. Only one Branch left in Plymouth so why isn't is more customer friendly,

It was quite but sadly like most things in Barclays you can no longer get the service you require. I only wanted a copy of my bank statement but had to pay just under £9.00 for the service elsewhere.

might as well shut the branch since it gets shut by 3, what is even the point?!!!since im an international student who works day and night, doesn?t have a vehicle. i do not know what can be done when the branch in the centre of town is shut?!!

We went into Barclays Bank Armada Way Plymouth branch this morning in order to pay some outstanding interest payments on our mortgage as we have always paid by cheque and we do not wish to go down the mobile ap route. We had tried paying via one of their transaction atm in the bank once before but our account number is an 9 diget number for which we have never been given a sort code so hence our visit this morning. A member of staff came up to us while we were in the queue and started to see if they could help us and told us that we could do it via one of the machines but we told them that it would not accept our 9 diget account number and we also did not have a sort code. At this, all the staff member could do was to offer us the use of a land line phone to phone the relevant number in Barclays to find it out. I asked if the bank could not do this for us as this was our branch but we were told "no"so the customer service turned out to be pretty much a big fat zero. We hadn't even got to the front of the queue where we used to be able to talk to a member of staff who would always sort out any problems but not now. I expect this branch is due for closure as they are clearly running down services. Absolutely terrible service considering this is our actual branch.

Stevie was brilliant she sort the problem with fraud on my account was very supportive and reassuring and transferred moneys to my husband account so could pay rent and order new cards for me many thankyou xxx

Cash desk rarely open so I had to use the cash machine took 25 minutes to get money into my account after it kept throwing it back at me, Not good when your running a small business.

I closed my account with Barclay?s because of poor customer service and their enthusiastic role in causing the climate crisis. Barclay?s policies are causing suffering around the globe, financing 5.6 billion in new fossil fuel projects in 2021. Even 20% of their shareholders rejected their climate plans, exposing the hypocrisy of a company who says they are helping the planet but doing everything but.
