Colin was amazing! He went out of his way to help me find the right screw and bolt to fix the hood on my convertible. After coming outside to check the size was the right one he then took me to find the right glue too. It was obvious he was busy but stopped to help me. What a credit to the company. Thank you Colin

Witnessed a manager being extremely rude to a young staff member in front of customers, shouting and seemed cold and uncaring. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name. I have had good experiences with this place in the past but this has really put me off completely. Learn to treat your staff better!

Paul and Dan made my delivery today of 6 x 100lt wood bark. They arrived on time and cheerfully carried them all up a flight of 30 steps to where I needed them!! Friendly and professional and refused a tip when offered. These two really did go above and beyond, thank you both so much, I really did appreciate it ??

I could not do the projects i carry out in my flat without the woodcutter at Plymouth B & Q. Over the years i have gone to him many times with an elementary drawing asking for help. He has duplicated my designs with expertise and precision enabling me to assemble at home and construct without the need for calling a tradesperson. He is an absolute legend and assett to the company and i hope they show their appreciation for him.

Just spoken to a lady in the Plymouth store about an online order I made I don?t get her name but what a lovely woman so helpful and super friendly and also confirmed that the Plymouth store is dog friendly which made my day!!! Very happy customer thank you helpful lady! I called about my gate and hinges purchase

My Christmas tree did not arrive this weekend due to the wind. I called up and was help by a lovely lady at customer services who promptly organised and had my tree sent next delivery. Im pleased to say that it has just arrived ?

This B&Q is huge and has a lot of products. My father and I came to the store some years ago to look for a garden shed. I had checked some while on a break and explained to my father about their great selection. After getting some time off to buy and build, we called the store and spoke with the manager called Darren at the time. He said that as we were coming up to the garden area, we were allowed to bring our dog along with us, while we have a look. We turned up to the store, and as soon as we walked in by the barbecues, a woman came rushing over to us to say we had to leave immediately. I explained to the lady that we had spoken to Darren, and he said it was okay as we were only using the garden centre. She told us that Darren was wrong and there were no exceptions. The dog we had at the time was a support dog which is allowed but the women was so angry we walked in with him, we were uncomfortable.
We asked to speak to Darren but after a few minutes she told us there was no Darren that worked for the company. We knew this to be wrong as I had met Darren twice about two weeks before.
After this we went to Homebase when it was at Marshmills as they were fine with us walking in with the support dog and even asked if they could offer treats. Since this has happened I've maybe entered three or four times but only to check prices as I was in the area. On three of these occasions I've seen much bigger dogs than what we had and they've had no problem.

Just been in to return a dewalt multitool as I had bought 2 the lady sat on the till named Irene not sure if it was because she was elderly or just didn't like her job but very rude didn't have the correct card so had to go and get it from my car and she huffed and told me to hurry up then didn't give me my recipient told me it will come out that machine I'm sorry but it's disgusting customer service and I do alot of shopping there

We wanted to buy a fire and fireplace but left it late to order. The Plymouth site said there was 1 in stock. We saw Rob initially who was extremely helpful and tracked down the fireplace and arranged delivery within days. There was an issue where we then dealt with Michelle. Her customer service was excellent helping to have it delivered smoothly and then finding a part which was missing. She kept me informed by telephone at every step and was so helpful when I called her. I don?t usually write reviews but the customer service we received was exceptional.

I love popping by this B&Q because it so frequently delivers!
Nice variety of just about everything, and you almost always have options when it comes to products, so you can get cheap and cheerful or spend a little more for reliable brand names.

Love this store they have so many cacti I struggled to contain myself as I love cacti and ended up buying one that I had wanted for a very long time. As for the rest of the store the staff didn't seem very helpful but I did manage to advise an older couple how to dispose of a dead body using a large plastic container as an alternative to divorce which they seemed delighted about. As for the checkout process the staff member was waving their arms around to signal the till was free with no idea what my white cane means which was both funny and frustrating.
