I have stayed at Waterside holiday park several times but tend to use it has base to visit the local area and visit family the location is great and the accommodation is clean and comfortable.

Nice site, clean accommodation lots to see and do in the local area. Great base if you like walking coastal footpaths accessible from the park. Good central location for a family

We cannot fault this place , the staff on reception Sue, Jan and Lizzie were most helpful when we arrived. After we had booked independently with a caravan owner on this park through another web site we turned up after an 8 hour drive only to find out the privately owned caravan was occupied and had been double booked by the owner , you can imagine that this was very stressful as we also had 2 dogs with us. The staff went all out and found us a fantastic caravan on the site and we finally settled down to the start of our holiday. The site is located in a fantastic position close to then steam railway and views of the sea . Short walks along coastal path take you to Goodrington which has a fantastic beach for dogs and a pub right on sea front. Local to the site is a parade of small shops and takeaways and petrol station. All in this was a lovely quiet place to stay and the bar and pool area are also very nice.

From the moment we arrived the staff were wonderful explaining all the amenities and making sure we had settled in by phone call after an hour of being there to make sure everything was all good. The site itself is quite small compared to some of the other sites that I have visited although this was great as it was just myself and my partner and our small puppy and it was very relaxing and quiet. The park is hilly in places but there?s a lovely little area where you get a fantastic view across the bay which is great for dog walking. Caravan was excellent with all the things needed for a relaxing break. Overall a great park to visit for couples which is very dog friendly

Absolutely loved staying there, we visited for my youngest birthday. The staff Sue, Jan and Lizzie were great on anything we needed help with, also called in to make sure we were settled. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool as did the children, we got to explore surrounding towns too which was worth the stay! Although things have changed, I wouldn?t say it?s worth taking the kids if you?re looking for somewhere to keep the kids entertained ON SITE, but there are always things to do away from the site. We didn?t come here to stay in the caravan through out the day, only for sleep and it was everything we needed. Would definitely return if needing some where more relaxed to stay!

Very comfortable caravan located half way up the site, parking right outside, glorious vista of Torbay, Torquay to the left, Goodrington below left and the edge of Brixham harbour to the right. New bar restaurant and swimming pool facilities on site, very good, obliging staff SUE, JAN & LIZZIE most helpful. The caravan had a good balcony and the weather was mild and kind so we could sit outside, and observe the steam trains which passed by running from Paignton to Kingswear/Dartmouth. ner perfect stay as we could wish.

This is a clean and scenic site. We went for a long weekend. From the minute we got there after a long very hot drive we went into the bar and was met with such a friendly welcome by Sarah in the bar who made our stay there lovely. The reception were very good called us an hour after settling in to make sure everything was perfect. Our van was exceptional beautiful view with decking overlooking the sea and steam train. A perfect location. The food unfortunately on site we felt was not too good not a big big choice the lasagne came with 2 anemic garlic bread I couldn't eat it so ate off site the rest of the time. We came here before the refurb and the food was 100% better then. The Terrace was lovely to sit and have a drunk as it was a hot weekend. If you want peace and quiet this is the site quite steep keeps you in shape but no good if you have mobility issues. Not much at all for children.

I would definitely highly recommend this holiday park good caravans and good for taking your dog's on this site if you are dog owner and you are near lots of beaches so you can go on lots of walks if you love walking and you have lots shops near by too. If you need anything. I would definitely come here again next year

Very welcoming from the minute we arrived, we had 2 young children and 2 dogs with us and was all entertained. The pool was abit cold but the warm jet pool made up for it, the walks and the views were amazing all day with the added view of the steam train which we did end up going on. The caravan was clean and fresh and the beds were comfy, the beach just down the road allowed dogs so was a good location for us, we enjoyed some scenic walks straight from the site which was good not having to pack up the car everytime. After we left I realised I'd left my netflix and iplayer account logged into the TV but they was more than helpful when I phoned and asked them to remove them. The children's park could do with abit of an upgrade but our two were more than happy with it! After reading some of the reviews I feel like people are expecting way too much as it does show pictures of all the facilities on the site. Overall we will definitely be back for another stay we all didn't want to come home!
