We visited Saturday night for the live entertainment and it was fab! The atmosphere was lovely, the decoration of the pub gives a very warm welcoming. Despite being very busy the bar staff very quick and efficient. Upstairs seating over looking the stage was perfect. Lovely and clean environment. The band and the dj were great. Would definitely recommend.

Very unusual to find such a wonderful old building so full of character and history, good beer, friendly staff and nice food, but for me it?s the building that does it, hopefully it won?t get ?refurbished? and turned into another characterless craphole!

Popped in here for tea on our last night of our hols.
Very busy with drinkers.
We had scampi which was lovely, disappointed that they were fries. Kids had pizza which they said were nice and one other had tikka masala which was really lovely. Drinks were nice but not cold and not offered ice.
Something for everyone so all left happy.
Play park on site to keep kids busy whilst waiting for food!

Food and atmosphere nice enough. Although it is disheartening when the staff give you attitude upon ordering and leave the toilet without washing their hands, hopefully that individual isn't involved in food preparation!

Popped in for a quick drink at approximately 1.30pm and served by an incredibly rude girl who was more interested in moaning about life to her colleague. Upstairs stunk of grease from the kitchen. One to avoid.
