Today I returned a faulty kettle to the range. I didn’t expect a problem. How wrong I was! I had to be rude and loud to get my rights under The Sale of Goods Act. They made life difficult, asking for a receipt, of which I had only a copy (and the difference was??). Eventually a manager did grudgingly make the refund....
