Excellent value and a friendly atmosphere. My friend and I came here for brunch, and the portions were generous. I'd have loved the knickerbocker glory for pudding, but we were in too much of a hurry, so I look forward to coming back!

We chose this pub at random based on online ratings.. local ales served from the Barrel .. very friendly staff.. well cooked large roast. Great atmosphere and even cooked a sausage for our dog. Great local place.

New to the area, we looked at the Google reviews and decided to check it out. Great little pub with a lovely dining area in the back. The service was fantastic and the locals at the bar were friendly. We will definitely go back for more.

I came here with three friends on bikes, a little bedraggled after riding from Bristol. Once we?d worked out what to do with our bikes (thanks to a friendly local) we were treated to a lovely meal and a delicious selection of ales. Everyone seemed happy, families, staff, us, darts players, locals propping up the bar. Long live proper pubs like this one!

Came here for our works Christmas Dinner and it was very good. The food was very taste and was still hot after a rather quick roll out. The service was generally good and price was excellent for a Christmas dinner.
The only complete was it was hard to get extra service for additional drinks after all the food was served. All in all a great pub with good food and a good atmosphere.
