Visited the area again for the day & ordered takeaway dartmoor burger & fries at The Tors.This is our usual trea, but we were a tad disappointed. The burger came back literally dripping everywhere with a cheese sauce? Not had this on before & it made eating whilst trying not to drip the sauce all over my clothes,car face, very difficult & the sauce itself overpowered the taste of the burger..please,please go back to a wedge of cheese,instead of the sauce..This used to be my fav burger.???

Beautiful location. Good for dogs on leads. Good food. I enjoyed my vegan mushroom pie, it was very flavourful. You can also eat outside with takeout containers from the shed. Nearby there are huge fields, a lovely horse and wild ponies. Difficult to park but just think smartly and be respectful and park wherever. They also had games you can play in the dining room. Bathrooms need improvement.

Not a bad place at all. The downside is the price point for food, especially the burgers, in a cardboard box for way too much. Don't get me wrong, nice place, food good, but needs a rethink I feel on service.

Lovely pub but closed inside and only pop up grill outside for food and drink.
Great food but smal portions fot big prices. Some will love this and others will leave dossapointed

Fabulous burgers! A local told us about this place and we had an excellent Sunday lunch. Great views out the back and in a very picturesque village. Even watched the ponies stroll by for a visit. It was busy, so we waited about 45 mins for our burgers (they told us it would be an hour) but it was worth the wait! Definitely recommend!
