I drove 40 minutes to pick up my package and this man named HAFIZ refused to give it to me because I didn't say correctly what it came with, evri or royal mail?. he spoke very badly to me, he was very aggressive!!!!! if someone can help me make a complaint for this man (I called several numbers but he didn't answer)

At least we have a post office but quite honestly not the warmest of welcomes nor indeed helpful. I always come away thinking I should have gone to Chagford instead.

Always greeted with a friendly face! The chap who works there is extremely knowledgeable and always kind as is his wife and other members of staff. Never had any problems ?

I?m trying to post an honest review of my local post office, it?s not the friendliest place as you can see from the minute you walk through the door with all the passive aggressive signs everywhere. I?ve almost always managed to post/cash do anything I needed to do, they have a nice selection of confectionery & greeting cards. I am thankful for a post office in the town.

Aside from previous rude interactions and illegal marking up of products, my sister has now come home very upset and angry after it took her over 10 minutes to send a parcel because the usual rude owner wouldn't accept her repeatedly telling him she wanted it to go the cheapest option that would get it there before Christmas - probably 2nd class. He kept telling her the options in very broken English (no objections other than he's been at this job for years so the most basic words he is using every single day should be clearer than that for the sake of the customer and I know myself, he speaks fast and condescendingly and doesn't take time to explain for you). She was very clear she wanted the cheaper option of whatever he was saying but he kept telling her he didn't know what she wanted and was very rude about it. In the end, just to get the parcel off, she opted for the first option of WHATEVER he was saying. He has sent a small parcel worth £5 TRACKED and charged about £12 for it. THAT IS NOT THE CHEAPEST OPTION. She only found out the cost at the point of being charged. My sister's stress levels were getting so high bc she hasn't sent a parcel abroad before, she was doing it on behalf of our parents, and our dad with memory problems had seemingly wandered off. His job is literally to look after the customer, know the services and help them choose the most appropriate - NOT the most expensive.

My husband received an extremely rude attitude from a lady in the card area, having been accused of stealing a card - even when we showed her the proof of purchase of the card which had been made from another shop earlier, she refused to apologise when challenged about this and us asking for an apology - the best is, she actually said ?you don?t need to apologise? !!!!! looking at other reviews, this post office seems to have a problem with some rude staff - we are visitors to the area, so I feel sorry for regulars to this post office - clearly needs sorting for the future !!!

The man behind the counter is extremely rude, patronising, condescending and disrespectful. I always try to avoid him when I visit the post office.

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews, I have nothing bad to say about them, everytime I go they are always polite and helpful. Sometimes even have a joke with you.

What can only be described as a painful experience! Having done the exact same thing at numerous other PO's the Lady behind the counter found fault and refused to process my parcel. She told me that all of the other PO's didn't do their job properly! I realised after I'd left that I was entitled for the PO (her) to print my label FOC which would have negated her issue. Conveniently she didn't bother to mention that. So in reality - she didn't do her job properly! Although, based on prior comments, I'm inclined to believe she did know and was on some kind of power trip! This could explain why Royal Mail now encourage you to purchase postage online and even offer to collect the parcels FOC - To help us avoid such obstinate and poor customer service.

I?ve only just moved to the area, visited this post office twice, one to post return parcel, the other to send a letter. Both times a man / men who were working there was so rude. I don?t understand why or how he can have such poor customer service skills (the older of the two men). I only asked for proof postage and he spoke to me like I was dirt, negative body language, eye rolling, talking down to me. It upset me and I?m not a sensitive person. I hope it?s not the only post office in the area, because I really do not want to return. On another time two men behind counter just ignored me, chatting to themselves and I was waiting to see if I get receipt for parcel and I was blanked. Just both times were terrible. Most unhelpful I?ve ever come across. Seems like he (older of the two was worse) just doesn?t like people. Or me, but I didn?t say or do any thing to deserve this low level service. Hope others don?t experience this.
