My daughter booked a table for 6 family members on Mothers Day.Food was excellent. My only moan was the fact that my 94yr old mum dropped her bread roll which came with the Prawn Cocktail.i asked the waitress if we could have another . She returned from the kitchen and said there would be a charge for another one or we could have a slice of whole meal bread. We had 2 bottles of wine at £35 pound per bottle and with drinks before our bill amounted to £300 .Surely they could have given us a free bead roll !!Food & drinks: My daughter booked a table for Mothers Day for 6 family members.Food was excellent. My only moan was the fact that after my 95 yr old mother accidentally dropped her bread roll on the floor which came with her Prawn Cocktail. Lovely meal with family at the Three Crowns. A lovely spot in Chagford with a stunning inside area. Food is up to par with the interior design- fresh, tasty and divine. Enjoyed the chicken burger which was lovely. Will be here again when I return to Devon with family. Very accommodating for a large group of people as well as a small dog.

Adam is the man ! From the point of booking in through the evening and breakfast the next day to check out he and the rest of the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Lovely stay. Lovely meal. Lovely room.

We popped in for a coffee, great atmosphere with a real fire and comfortable chairs. We didn?t eat or stay over but I?d be surprised if it was anything other than amazing. Tucked away in the main street of Chagford, it?s definitely worth checking out if you?re passing.

In the hearth of the village, facing the church yard, this building has it all. Charm, style, tradition and elegance. We didn't stay here today but booked in for lunch. The restaurant is extensive. The traditional entrance area by a huge stone fire place and the bar. We could have chosen the conservatory section, light and inviting. I must admit that our experience here started with the phone call, Georgia (the manager) was kind and professional and understanding. But also the girls at the bar. Professionally run Atmospheric gastro pub. The lamb pie was delicious out together busting in flavors. The curry was just a thought of heat but decorated with dry chilies. Perfect match.

I have been coming to this pub for many years as I used to be local however not since the big renovation. The update has been done respectfully to the area with keeping the cosy village pub we all love. With that said it still feels modern and chic thus pleasing all.We were served by the very polite and attentive Sarah. Lovely smile and gave great eye contact, fast serving and all round wonderful customer service. Definitely an asset to the business. The building is easily accessible with an electric wheelchair (apart from the original cobbled short path to the front door) and is dog friendly.I had hoisin belly pork with beansprout salad and my guest had the French onion soup. Both were outstanding. To drink we had pot of local tea and pint of Korev which is a Cornish lager and really smooth drink. We will definitely be returning! Well done team!

Lovely hotel/restaurant/bars. Would not use it if I didn't like it as there is plenty of competition from other places. Staff always pleasant and keen to do their job.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms - the bathrobes were a nice touch! Dinner was good, breakfast not bad. Central location in a pleasant small town. Good place to stop if you're walking the Two Moors Way.

Stayed just one night very pleasant we were also blessed with hot weather in October. Sat outside all afternoon and dinner in the conservatory. Food really nice and friendly staff. Just one observation waiters and waitresses when you bring food or drinks to the table take away the previous glasses, we were limited for room on a round table for 4 so was very cluttered and when the cheese board arrived there was no room even then the glassed weren't removed. Small thing I know but the eye is in the detail. We'll be back.
