Not as good as I thought poor choice of ale's bit rough and tumble think the main brew house may of been downstairs however was closed the barman was friendly enough though!

Nice pub to stop by at while waiting for the train. It was very homely and aged, the bar staff were welcoming and chatty with customers.

Trains were cancelled so quickly came in and ordered a drink. Was served by a woman called Rebecca, who happily helped take my charger and phone in order for me to make altermative arrangements to get back home to Exeter. Amazing, friendly service and I will 100% visit again. Everyone in the building seemed so happy. Great place to go if you're visiting Newton Abbot.

Located next to Newton Abbot railway station, came to watch The Embezzlers with friends, fantastic time, busy, great band, great atmosphere, seating outside and also downstairs, drink orders slightly slower which was no problem as very busy, bar staff handled it well...

A good old traditional pub! Great prices, real ales and friendly staff.Convenient for the railway station.Parking is limited but available.Seating inside, outside under cover and outside on benches. Plenty of space.Definitely recommend this place for a real pub not eatery.
