We had an excellent Sunday meal today for my Mum's birthday. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. We had a large table with young children and we were extremely well catered for. The facilities were clean and the pub atmosphere and ambience was very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning again. Thank you for making my Mum's birthday so special.

Lovely local and relaxed inn. Perfect for our road trip together through Devon. Food was absolutely stunning. Lovely inn. Will definitely return.

Nearby activities: Stunning Dartmoor. Especially worth seeing Fernworthy Resevoir just a couple of miles away.
Food & drinks: Local, creative, beautiful. Brilliant all round

Lovely family meal on a holiday in the SW.
Brilliant food, including chocolate fondant to die for.
Attentive service and for quality of meal, not that expensive in comparison with other similar establishments.

Functional reasonably priced rooms, noisy external door at 4am closing after customer taking a dog out for a wee. Good value for money but no response to my request for internet being unavailable, had to go in the pub across the road.

We have visited Chagford Inn twice now, and both times have been exceptional.They menu is always changing, and what they serve depends purely on what local ingredients they can source that week. The food is local, fresh, full of flavour. We have had the a la carte menu, and also the Sunday lunch. Both times have been equally as good as one another. I really cannot recommend this place enough!The staff are lovely and so attentive.We made a whole day of it and did a lovely walk at fingle bridge and castle drogo, only 15 mins from this gem of a place.

The best light lunch I've had in a long time!!! Homemade corned Beef on toast, with a perfect fried egg, fabulous. Was quiet when I visited during a week day lunchtime, but a cracking pub that'll I'll definitely check out again one evening. Dog friendly
