I bought a Makita SDS at Screwfix in Newton Abbot.
I was served by a chap called Alec who was super helpful and professional. There was a small issue but Alec and Steph were incredibly helpful.
Thr staff down there are the reason I use Screwfix and not Toolstaion.

Served by a tall chap, glasses, red hair and beard. Didn?t get his name. Very polite, couldn?t find part of my order (because someone hadn?t put it where it should be, it was left on the manager?s desk) and he was searching for it. It clearly mattered to him that he did a good job, which is precisely what I want to see from employees as a customer. He?s the only reason I?ll be shopping again at Screwfix. Please pass on my feedback.

Always had excellent service in Newton Abbot premises. Recently purchased a new miter saw. Got it home, unpacked it but had a problem. The pull out bevel lock was locked in tight and couldn't shift it. Not wanting to use grips or pliers incase I damaged the it, I returned it asap. Before getting a refund, I asked a young guy if he could shift it. Well, just needed a bit more muscle. With a good hard tug, out it came. No need for refund! Yeh, good service and a very happy customer. 5*

Must of got them on a bad day going on all the other reviews. Extremely unhelpful and total waste of my time. Went to Denmans who have fantastic staff and took the actual time to help me get what I needed.
