(Old review read onto bottom please) Never got to see the room made a booking at 7.45pm for tonight and made my way there after a long day shift, been outside since 8.50pm the place is locked up and nobody around, no reception, no number to call to gain access plus been calling the number on Google for a solid 20 minutes for the place and it's just ringing out, not really sure what to do from here seems like av paid to sleep in my car so not the best experience that's the reason for the 1 star review across the board...... (Edit) so 3 weeks later and I have given them ago again and finally gained access after my nightshift too, I called earlier this time and the guy who answered was very nice and more than willing to help me get in after work had finished he even gave me his personal number so I could call him if I was running really late, I couldn't be more grateful for that but the rooms are nice loads of room to chill en suite was nice too shower was strong and hot always a plus, looking back it was a long old day 3 weeks ago and I was teird after work and just wanted a bed so i feel i was too harsh with my earlier review so now i am correcting it as it was unfair from myself, its a loverly place with nice owners on site parking and a nice breakfast, if you are running late just call them and they will try to accommodate you the best they can as they did with me when I let them know ahead of time all in all 8/10 easyNoteworthy details: Call ahead if running late for booking in

Very classic and authentic place. Great neighborhood to just chill and enjoy your time. Your will not see more welcoming landlord anywhere else. Great price. I have stayed twice in this place with my wife and I would pick it every time over other hotels in Newton abbot.

Don't turn up the chance to try out the top notch full English breakfast here, with very comfortable and quiet room included. Awesome place, great friendly atmosphere.

Never, would I stay in this place again!!!!!... Mouldy shower, bath mat set, (I don't know when this was last washed!)to which I covered over with a towel Broken bed frame , mouldy smelling room and lack of running water and toilet not flushing properly.. 3 drunks trying to get in the place at gone 12 midnight couldn't sort their keys out so started banging on the door and my room window then proceeded to open my room window. When i told the landlord of this the following morning asking for partial refund he tells me nothing I can do luv, not my problem! How do these people run such places???.....

The bed was so comfy room spotless. The breakfast set you up for the day and the new people running the keyberry are a great addition . It will be even better when they start serving food which will be a bonus. Book early as all rooms taken while I was there

Our room was comfortable and considering it was over a pub very quiet. The new owner was very pleasant and anxious to please. Quite a long walk into town and to rail station. Breakfast was included but only a cooked one so more variety would have been appreciated.

The welcome was warm and the room was fine however when I got to my room I had hairs in the shower cubical and bed. The following morning (08/07) I found a long hair in my cooked breakfast. I told the manager and he said a very sheepish sorry. There was no offer for a fresh plate. I paid for 2 nights but left after 1 night.

Stayed one night, the hotelier was friendly and helpful and very cheery the next morning, humming / signing away whilst he made us a lovely Full English breakfast. Room was spacious and light, very happy with our stay.

A true little gemCouldn?t ask for a warmer welcome.I travelled on my own to see my son and was made to few very welcome.Lovely room- spotless and comfortable.Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful.Would definitely recommend.Thank you for a lovely stay ?

Perfect , we stayed for 4 nights and nothing was too much trouble , comfortable bed, great breakfast and cheapest ale in the area .the hospitality of the landlady was outstanding , will definitely stay again . and would highly recommend this pub b and b

My auntie stayed here , visiting from Yorkshire and she said the room was great. The food was very good and the staff was friendlyMade her visit alot less
