“A very nice place to grab food/petrol locally without going all the way into town. Also primarily rating it to give massive props to Swanny, lovely guy whom I give massive props too for being a great shop assistant, always have a much bigger smile leaving the shop whenever he’s working the tills.”

“Just love the place. I travel from Newton Abbot to Liverton if I have to post anything.Staff are always very friendly, and seem to be controlling social distancing quite well! For a small country store the range of food and other basics is excellent! This is a village shop a lot of Devon villages would die for.Keep up the good work.....!!”

“Very large Coop with a wide selection of stock and plenty of free (flat) parking too. They can have some good offers .. their meal deal is great, but I do find they can be a little bit more expensive than other places sometimes.Saying that, I did get some nice Coop own chocolate to try which was on offer at £1.50 a bar.”

“The only place you could get a bite to eat for lunch. Well done. All other so called eateries were closed for lunch except one very small tearoom who was inundated with visitors looking for lunch.”

“Stopped for a coffee. Lovely lady in there suggested that I might like a meal deal as only cost 60p more. So, prawn sandwich, crisps and a coffee for £3.50!!! The lady with bright coloured hair, was helpful, friendly and a good saleswoman! Credit to the company.”

“Popped in here for a few supplies and was greeted by very friendly staff and loads of bargains on hot food at the end of the day. Plenty of good stuff in this little co-op that seems to have a personality of its own independent of the co-op chain of stores.”

“Went in this shop a few years ago and the woman was so rude telling me I was queueing for the till the wrong way when I was the only person in the queue! Looks as though she actually goes out of her way to upset and be unpleasant. Didn’t go back for a couple of years and then when I had to get something i could not get elsewhere I found the rude woman no longer there! The staff are now all very pleasant and helpful and it’s like a whole different store. Just shows what one bad apple can do. I hope I don’t run into her anywhere else.”
