Really Comet are an online lighting shop. Perhaps I didn't do the right thing in just turning up, and the chap there was a bit bemused and befuddled to be asked for something. I'm sure that if you phoned up first then you might find out if it was worth visiting. There is limited stock in what exists of a 'shop'.

Non existent customer service.Wrong item sent, wouldn?t cover return postage so now out of pocket for their error.

Horrendous experience. First they sent me the wrong lights. I?ll have them hanging around five days now. Now they?ve refused to send me the right products I bought, as they made a pricing error and aren?t willing to honour the purchase price. They?ve been dishonest in claiming it?s unavailable, when it?s clearly in stock on their website and the supplier website. Really terrible company and I?d urge anyone to look at their competitors instead.

I bought a Nordlux Time Table lamp from Comet, the item was dispatched after a week after ordering and arrived in perfect condition.I can see that other customers had various complaints, but i would respond here by saying that Comet are a retailer who relies on a supplier who relies on the importer and so on. Just because your item doesnt arrived immediately is not Comet's fault. They, like other retailers, do not keep vast quantities of product on their premises, so delays can happen.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Comet lighting. I requested to return a floor lamp days after it arrived. Two weeks and two emails later, I hadn't had a response with and RMA number. I had to repeatedly call in order to arrange the return. Once returned, I waited a month but no contact from the company. When I rang, the man on the phone turned from being pleasant to extremely rude once he realised I wanted my money back. I was reluctantly reassured it would be resolved. A month later, no refund. I called again and the same thing happened, I was spoken to with very little courtesy or respect. He admitted my return was still in the warehouse and hadn't been processed. I was assured the money would be in my account within 48 hours. You can guess what happened... no refund. Coincidently a close family member lives near the shop and as I was clearly not going to get anywhere on the phone, he ended up going there in person. He managed to secured me a full refund, and was reassured this was being done while he was in the store, until after he left then I was offered a partial refund via PayPal. Very dishonest.Comet lighting's website claims hassle free returns. This is a joke. The customer service is appalling and clearly the manager does not put the customer at the heart of the business. My advice would be enless you are certain the light you are buying is going to be suitable and you won't have to return it, stay away from this company!

Returned goods , they accused us of breaking them .then said they would refund but after several emails not even communicating with us anymore and we are still awaiting refund So frustrating

Truly awful company to deal with. Lied about a product not being faulty, when it clearly was. I am out of pocket for the postage both ways! If sending back a faulty item, take a video of it, that way they can't claim otherwise. Jokers.

Lamp took a little while to arrive, rang shop to query my order and they were very helpful. Lamp arrived soon after my phone call. Saved money on my purchase , very pleased with my lamp..

Truly awful company. Rude customer service staff and totally inflexible. We were a few hours over the 14 day limit to raise a return (as product was awful when it arrived, nothing like it was on website). It took us 14 days as we?re in middle of a house build. When we finally went to unpack them we didn?t like them. inflexible, rude staff. Never been talked to that way by an online store representative.Sure, if you are happy with what you get then I?m sure they?re fine at sending out products quickly. But you judge a company in how they deal with problems and this company failed poorly.AVOID

If my experience is anything to go by this was a perfect internet transaction. The website is easy to navigate and I quickly found a lampshade I liked at a price I liked. It was delivered quickly. I had to contact the seller with a query. They picked up the phone quickly and dealt with my query immediately.Buy with confidence.
