Absolutely disgusted with this practice. I've been with them for 20 years almost. They're getting rid of all their NHS dentists but telling the patients that they can't get them so you have to go private. They have hundreds of patients that have been left high and dry ,totally shocking . They haven't bothered to write to all the patients either. It's like a cartel ,they can control the prices if there's no NHS ..
They all look miserable when you go in there ( like a rottweiler chewing a brick).

Emma the receptionist gave amazing customer service, I suffer with severe anxiety and she really helped with many questions I had, spoke clearly and was easy to understand, she was very caring and understanding which I really do appreciate as dentist appointments are so hard for me. Thank you!

Myself and my family have been at the practice for a long time but unfortunately all nhs appointments for my children have been cancelled for nearly 3 years now (you book an appointment it gets near the time it?s then cancelled and rebooked for nearly a years time and then it gets cancelled again then repeat!) The NHS dentist has now gone private so all you can do is wait on a list in the slim hope that they will get a replacement! Of course you can pay for a private appointment. Children are entitled to free dental care and it is a sad state of affairs that children cannot assess free dental check ups anymore.The reception staff are always helpful and I appreciate that this is a country wide issue and not just this practice but maybe it would be useful for them to write to their clients to inform them that the dentist is going private rather than just cancel your appointments to keep us informed.

I am new to Bupa Dental care Newton Abbot. I have found there service absolutely brilliant. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Both for my check up and Hygienist were first class. Thank you.

Taken off patient list. No notice given. Never offered appointments due to Covid. Now I have to pay with some Bupa plan to go back there as a private patient. No wonder trying to see a dentist in this country is rubbish - it?s their fault we get taken off. Anyway, won?t be going back. Not that they?ll miss me, already have lots of other paying customers.

Phoned to enquire about an extraction and was promptly given every reason, buffer and excuse known to mankind as to why they wouldn't be able to help due to so many other dentists closing in the area! Not what I was expecting from Bupa private health enquiry! However I did call My Dentist who were able to see me the same day and had no excuses as to how they couldn't help, they just gave me a price and a time and that was that!
