If I could I would give you zero. I always order online due to me having a low immune and just finishing cancer treatment but sure was not working. I decided to go when store opened and do scan and go.
When I got to till was told they needed to check 18 items. She took my bags out of my trolley placing them on floor my husbandcwasnt happy with this saying please don't put bags on floor is the floor clean you could get listeria having contact with floor.
She just carried on I then noticed she was touching all my unpacked food I asked her not to do that could she wear clothes due to infection. She then said " oh my god" I was so surprised to hear this i said what did you say I said to her about my worries of infection but she just carried on. She was very rude.
I got in touch with asda via x they apologised I said I want apologies from newton abbot so far nothing. They said they don't have to wear gloves any more but surely if I asked they should

I visited on Monday 30th December expecting a 20 minute shop, to order and collect a cake. It is advertised to only take 10 minutes for the bakery to print your design onto the cake. After an hour of asking customer service desk, talking to staff around the store and waiting for staff to come to the bakery, we spoke to a man that I did not catch the name of. He was a STAR. He said I don't know where the only one bakery staff they had in that day was but they did know of someone qualified and was working in a different part of the store. Chris came and got the ball rolling for us. We were able to celebrate a family members birthday with a beautiful cake.
The majority of staff around the store were unhelpful. I did have to chuckle when one went 'uhhhh I don't know' and carried on with their task.
If not for the lovely chap and Chris I'd be putting in a complaint with the store for the incompetent staff.

The manager of this store is so incompetent. The store is packed,people are queuing in the Isles blocking them and only two tills are open. This store gets worse by the day and to say it's a painful experience shopping here would be an understatement. Asda,please can we have a better store manager in Newton Abbot? He really isn't an asset to your company ?

AVOID!!Worst store in the country, staff can?t be bothered and the management are even worse. No customer service, no communication and they cut the phone off rather than talking to you.
