This is review of Dartmoor Boots I have received in February 2023.What I like in my boots:1. Design. I like how they look on my feet and how they can be worn with almost any kind of clothing. They just fit w/ that classic utilitarian look.2. Weight. Boots are mode out of thick leather w/o anything that is not necessary and all that makes them very light.3. Leather and sole quality. Nothing to complain about. Sole is Vibram made and leather is thick, soft etc.4. Made to measure. Especially wide toe box.What I do not like:1. Lack of quality when it comes to craftsmanship. My shoes were not glued properly, and some of the stitching was undone.2. Lack of quality control. I can understand that sth can happen to the boots after some time of wear but if you can tell in about 30 seconds after unboxing that lining is not glued properly and stitching does not hold vamp and shaft together that just screams to me that nobody examined the boots prior shipping.3. Design. I know that I mentioned that I like how the boots look but when it comes to functionality the boots are missing counter or let say ?stiff counter?. I like that the boots are flexible and soft but lack of stiff counter was causing blister and that was until I asked my cobbler to fix it.Summary:I love and hate Dartmoor Boots at the same time. In my opinion overall idea behind the boots is awesome but they are lacking when it comes to craftsmanship and QC. Someone may ask why I have not put an official complaint? The answer is simple and it can be described in two words ? import taxes. Since UK left EU it is easier to take boots to your local cobbler than send them back. Why two stars? I wish I could give more but the boots I have received are non-wearable because of the glueing and they need cobbler?s attention out of the box. When you order boots made in UK that are not cheap you at least expect that you can just wear them and when it comes to the pair I have received it was impossible.

As a family we have been using them for years - either by phone / on line ( they have our sizes) or by incorporating a visit in a day out.

I absolutely love my green shoes. I have 4 pairs, one I made myself in one of the workshops and 2 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of sandals. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and I love that they are totally unique. They also last for years and years and after making my own pair in the workshop I realised how much work goes into making them and think that their price if really reasonable for the amount of effort and skill that goes into them.

I attended one of their one day shoe making workshops. Great to go through the whole process of making a pair of fitted shoes. Enjoyable day and workshop had a very pleasant feel about how it was presented. So as well as learning a lot you come away with a nice pair of handmade, well fitting shoes ?

Shoes and boots are great all hand made, it's not a shop front as you might expect,just a doorway,at the moment there is scaffolding outside,but they are open and have a shop up stairs,very helpful they also run work shops.

Amazing shoes! We have been on 2 of their courses now and been so impressed with the expertise, welcome, and amazing shoes. It's a wonderful experience and the shoes I made about 6 or 7 years ago (and wear all the time)are still going strong! They encorporated all my mad ideas to end up with some truly unique boots! Thank you all.

They kindly made us a vegan leather buckle lead to go with the greyhound collar we also purchased. Great communication and made sure we were totally happy with the end product. It's just what we wanted, thank you!

Have bought many pairs of shoes from Green Shoes for myself and other members of the family and they last forever. Always beautifully made and wonderfully comfortable - I don't get shoes from anywhere else now. They are also really good at made to measure shoes for those with weird shaped feet!Not only great products but lovely staff, too. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
