We have eaten at 33 eight times for lunch and dinner, since Jamie and Claire took it over. It's amazing food beautifully cooked and presented and we have always had wonderful meals. The service is excellent and the staff are all very friendly. We can't recommend the restaurant highly enough!

We can highly recommend this restaurant. Food was superb, service was excellent, and the atmosphere and location a real treat. Definitely worth a visit and should we be back in the area, we will make the effort to go again.

A fantastic evening meal at this wonderful restaurant in Aug 2025. The reimagination of the restaurant has been very successful with a significant upgrade to the menu options especially the fresh fish. The service was friendly, efficient and prompt. This is our favourite place to eat in the South Hams

Nice little restaurant with tasty food but the portions are extremely small , a main plate is like a small starter and the price is about £25. After I ate i left hungry and very disappointed

The food was beautiful and some of the best you will find in the area. The service was warm and friendly and staff very accommodating. The photos on here don't do it justice. Beautiful spot with excellent food. Can't rate it highly enough.

Recently rebranded Oceans by twenty-seven. Still the same views. The food is a little ?out there? for example treacle tart with blue cheese topping. Lemon sole and chorizo topping. All you can taste is chorizo. The water irritated me. I?d like the option of tap water rather than £4.50 for water from Northumberland I didn?t want. The service was good but there weren?t many in. The menus is arranged so you need at least 2sides either each main dish. The end result is a very expensive night out. Be prepared for £60 a head. That?s no starters two desserts and a pint and half of larger for a group of three. Outrageous! Good food but not value for money. I can get cheaper chorizo from Aldi. I don?t need tasteless pickled pear on my treacle tart. What comes out my taps at home tastes just like that £4.50 water I didn?t ask for. I left the restaurant feeling ripped off, like I?d been scammed somehow. I wasn?t even full.

Second visit to Oceans since it was taken over by Jamie Burnard. Overall we have been very impressed and really
enjoyed the food on both visits. On this occasion I felt that the descriptions on the menu were not terribly clear and when we quizzed the waiter he was not as much help as he should have been. However it has not put us off and look forward to going again soon.

We had one of the best lunches in recent memory.
Lobster Arancini- Excellent
Lobster Thermidor - World Class
Asparagus Risotto - Toddler ate it (serious accomplishment)
The scenery: some of the best Britain has to offer.
Would highly recommend.
Advise: book ahead as it gets busy.

We had a really incredible meal and experience here yesterday evening, the server/ owner was really welcoming and kind with our puppy. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere / decoration of the restaurant was exceptional. The view was beautiful too watching the sunset. I can?t understand why it wasn?t busier!
