Came in for a quick drink with friends after a lovely day in Lynton and Lynmouth. Warm welcome from the chap behind the bar and courtyard was full of locals celebrating a birthday, which was fun. Came in for a quick bite to eat, but wouldn’t come back. Service was fine - nothing high quality. Had the burger and it was just bad, clearly from frozen. Atmosphere was deadly silent. Could be fun to do in a group but talking above a whisper meant every single person in the venue could hear you.
