Very very disappointed. Have been many times and promised visiting family a great breakfast. Inedible....bacon and sausages which were not cooked but were incinerated. Only saving grace was a good cup of tea.

Used today for first time ordered 2 meals 2 coffees paid bill sat down wife said paid to much ,went back speak manager said u ha ve overcharge me by 1.50 his words were we put it in till and that's what it is. But the menu prices on table are different from till. I know only 1.50 but you do not expect to get treated where manager don't care. When came bacon was burned as per picture.

Visited one morning. Almost empty except for three other customers. Ordered an ice cream for my 8 year old son, a coffee for my partner and a packet of crisps for myself only intending to stay for 10 minutes before embarking on a longer walk. My 5 year old son just wanted his favourite crips which we'd brought with us. As soon as we'd sat down we were approached and told we weren't allowed to consume any food brought with us. I explained my son wouldn't eat anything from the café and would only be eating one bag of crisps. Also pointed out that we had purchased three items. The lady disappeared and 30 seconds later a stocky man, purporting to be the manager, came and reiterated the point. He pointed at the bag of crisps I was consuming which I'd bought from the café itself. After a brief discussion it was clear we were unwelcome so we left. Fortunately we visited two other cafes during the day which were very welcoming and had no issue with us giving our younger son a snack from our bag. In particular 'No.1 Lynton coffee lounge' was excellent.

Can?t honestly comment on food etc but it?s a lovely view which looks out to sea. Walked in to politely ask if we could use the bathroom (after paying £7 to come down the railway- the guy who worked on the railway said the cafe next door always lets people use the toilets). When my partner asked the guy behind the till, we were just given a sarcastic reaction as he laughed and said ?oh you want to use the customer toilets, for customers?? I appreciate we hadn?t bought anything, but we were going too, but that completely put us off. So we spent our money in the lovely little cafe at the top of the railway instead in Lynton. Two places now in Lynmouth which has really put me off just by miserable and rude customer service. Thank you!

Disappointed with the breakfast, the mushrooms were minuscule and clearly over cooked.Overpriced for the quality of food.

A nice centre and building. Friendly service. A bit overpriced but a sign of the times. Window view of the lynton railway . Well worth a visit.

We always try to eat here when we visit Lynmouth but it does get very busy.Good and varied menu, reasonable prices, efficient staff, sea views. Clean toilets and you can bring your dog along as well. What's not to like.?Parking: There is limited free street parking otherwise it's the good ol' pay and display parking that means by paying to park you have less to spend in the town.
