Delicious food. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. We hadn't booked and they kindly fitted us in. Glad they did as it was our anniversary meal and we didn't realise that so many places are closed on a Sunday evening in Lynton. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Best meal I've had in a very long time! Amazing authentic tapas with a great selection to choose from as well as friendly, helpful staff with lovely smiles throughout the evening. Couldn't have asked for a better end to our stay in Lynton.

Nice restaurant, nice service, average tapas. Went here with high expectations having read the reviews but imo the food & sangria were distinctly average. Had gambas, chorizo, calamari, meatballs, bravas, sangria.

First time experiencing the oak room, despite being a regular visitor to Lynton. Food was absolutely wonderful. Our favourites were the toasted brie and onion marmalade, chorizo and pork tenderloins. Everything was just wonderful. Staff were also absolutely incredible, so warm and welcoming. We had the best evening and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

Booking is a must. Lovely food and good service. Loved the stuffed lettuce, prawns, croquettes and tortillas to name just a few. Sangria was lovely. Easy to spend a lot of money with all the options.

The bookings are made in 2 hour slots, 6pm or 8pm. We came in at 6 and received our first food at 6:40 but not all tapas at once. Much more we got one after the other watching people next table arriving later getting their food earlier.
Very disappointing and not the idea of tapas which should be having all plates to combine a full meal.

This is, without a doubt, my favourite restaurant EVER!!!!!!! The food is absolutely out of this world and I have never had a bad meal here.
The staff are absolutely lovely too.
Forget going to Spain for Tapas...just go to Lynton.

Delicious tapas with great flavours. The menu varies and was more interesting than typical tapas restaurants. Staff were really friendly too. Would recommend booking as it was very busy and a few people were turned away

We worked our way through the menu over 3 visits. All very satisfying. Nice wine, great service and staff, and the Tarta de Limon was delicious.

Fantastic evening at The Oak Room. Incredible service and amazing food. The quality and presentation of each dish is beautiful and the wines available are fantastic and fairly priced.
Friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our meal. Cant wait to go back.
