This is such a lovely and beautiful BnB run by two lovely ladies. Everything from the rooms to breakfast, the common area and the location and the service deserves a 5 star. Would totally recommend it

I was recommended this hotel by a family member who has stayed here a couple of times; the recommendation was fully justified. I stayed here towards the end of November '24. Sarah and Cathryn are top notch hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. I travelled solo and my room was scrupulously clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and a good shower. Breakfasts were excellent; their Full English defeated even me. I had an evening meal and that too was delicious. Breakfast and evening meals are pre ordered, which is no problem. The hotel is situated on a high position overlooking the lovely town of Lynmouth; unfortunately the Saturday of my visit saw the unwelcome arrival of Storm Bert, but I'm sure neither Sarah or Cathryn could have done anything about this!
One point to mention, as others have done - there are a fair few steps upwards to gain access but, that quibble apart, I can wholly recommend this hotel. I shall certainly be staying again.

Have visited the bonnicott hotel for several years now, we have stayed in various bed and breakfast places in lynmouth but the bonnicott is our go to place. Sarah and Cathryn can't do enough to make your stay feel home from home. Rooms are welcoming and beds are comfortable. There are several pubs in lynmouth where you can eat but have to say evening meals at the bonnicott are second to none with plenty of choice to suit everyone. Just returned home from our stay and can't wait to return next year.

Lovely place to stay, if it had parking on site it would be the full package. We struggled to park in the car park opposite the hotel on the first day. Please do not let this put you off this lovely, quaint hotel. The breakfasts are yummy!!!

We had a short break at Bonnicott House and it was very pleasant. We had dinner one evening which was really good and value for money. Access is a bit on the steep side but the well tended garden offers excellent views. Lynmouth it's self is a quirky but interesting place to visit.

Really nice looking hotel inside and out, staff very friendly. We stayed a while ago and decided to eat in the hotel, food was amazing and they had local drinks. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful staff, one lovely lady serves all tables, but serves in perfect timing and is very knowledgeable. All meals are delicious, but you need to preorder the meal when you book a table. Breakfast has various choices from full English breakfast to light meal. The room is very clean and the view from the room is great seaview. Deco is old traditional English style. Parking is in front of the hotel, it's not free but you can get 4 days free pass in Lynmouth and Lynton area £15 in cash (as of May 2024). Also you can park for 2 hours on a road for free.

We have just had a three night stay at this gem of a hotel and have loved every minute, the hosts are wonderful and so friendly , the food was absolutely delicious, such a relaxed atmosphere and we were made to feel so welcome and could not fault a single thing, thank you so much.

We had a three night stay at The Bonnicott and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and the bathroom a little on the small side but manageable. Sarah and Cathryn were wonderful hosts who could not have done more to make our stay an enjoyable one. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice available. We had evening meals on two nights, not available on Sundays, and they were all of a very high standard and very tasty. This was our first stay at The Bonnicott but we hope that it will not be our last !

Quaint and full of character but well appointed and very comfortable. We spent three wonderful nights here and wished we were staying a month. Food for breakfast and dinner was outstanding and the welcome could not be warmer. Highly recommended.

We spent two lovely nights at the Bonnicott, which has beautiful views from the bedrooms and dining room. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the food, which was cooked by Sarah, was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble for Cathryn. This hotel is not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.
