Dinner here in the dining room was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend their steaks. Fish was also brilliant. Sticky Toffee Pudding was a proper job.

Booked a birthday meal here - specifically asked for the Restaurant side rather than bar (as I've been here dozens of times before) drove 45 minutes to get here only to be told thru had a private party in the restaurant and best they could do was to seat us in the bar area.
If I wanted a pub meal, I wouldn't choose The Arundell as there are better value options, the value at The Arundell is 'usually' a very good level of service.
After this, I won't be back - shame as I've been coming here for 10 years.

Fantastic welcome from Jackie. Amazing execution on the menu and food. Pretty exceptional wines. Room was a bit tired but the bathroom was a massive dissatisfaction. No hot water in shower, loo seat broken and hairs over and in bath.
Would definitely return for the restaurant and service overall, although was shocked being told hot water WAS being sorted. Obviously not for us though!

What a gem of a place. Had a great stay. Lovely staff and a very beautiful inn.Fishing was a dream. Tim was an awesome guide.

I normally come here for lunch and to charge my car. The Tesla chargers are the fastest and best for miles around. Great friendly staff who are always welcoming

I have to say that 4 scallop shells each with 1 scallop engulfed in sloppy overpowering leek sauce (lots of leeks) for £31 is not my idea of fine dining. What happened to the lovely scallop dishes you used to serve!! What a disappointment.

Only just signed up to this trip advisor to do a bad review of somewhere as I really think it needed but as I?m on here I must write one about this hotel in a much more positive light We were lucky lucky enough to stay a few nights here in the early start of the year and what a treasure it was Exceptional hosts Exquisite food And a generally lovely place full of character and finished to a fine standard fully recommend it here especially if you are away on a sporting break We will be back same time next year

We?re local to the hotel and enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal in the bar . The food was absolutely delicious and the attentive staff especially Amy and Bailey looked after us very well . Would highly recommend a visit.
