The place is shocking either way rude staff who rather than dealing with issues they like to be rude and have an attitude. They refused to acknowledge what our receipt said and delivered completely different food and then rather than phone us to discuss and apologise instead I called them to ask about it, the staff were very difficult to talk to not acknowledging anything I actually said. The staff were the rude insisting I come down to the restaurant to receive a bag of crackling missing the point completely all I said was for them to acknowledge that they messed up with a simple apology would of sufficed. Instead she continued to say the same thing I have more photos but I?m genuinely debating about legal action so may wait on posting them for the time being. Wouldn?t recommended going the food tastes worse than McDonald?s

Visited for drinks, as literally staying 100m away,we were made to feel very welcome and then booked Sunday lunch for 9 people.
Food was very nice, Second round of drinks were left off our order, hadn't arrived by the time we were ready to leave, but received an apology. No problem, as staff were working hard. Paid bill with cash, but were informed that our £50 notes wouldn't be acceptable to pay with! When I pointed out that it is legal tender, I was told that it is company policy! It is very easy to check if notes are genuine, and they could have been verified as such. It sort of suggests that a customer is not trusted, to me......
We had already worked out what we would be ordering when returning in a day or two, but not so sure that we will be returning now. A bit of a shame, as a £50 note is not large currency any more, and a bit of short sightedness by the staff member concerned......

Really lovely pub with a great atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. I have food allergies and the staff, particularly the chef, could not have been more accommodating. We ate here twice and both times the chef came down to see me to make sure I could eat, even making an off the menu dish for me and then he came to check on me after. I've never had that kind of service before. All the staff were extremely friendly. Great garden out back to have a drink too. Couldn't recommend enough!

First visit with new owners . Lovely welcome from a very pleasant barmaid . We arrived at 3:30pm had a few pints of cider which was beautiful ,on a hot sunny day , in the beer garden . At 5:30 pm we ordered food . It came very quickly and was presented well . Hot and tasted incredible . 10/10 . We live local so will definitely be back

Lovely little pub tucked away in kingsteignton. We sat out the front. It was clean, inviting and staff i encountered were friendly. There is a good sized car park, play area outside for children which looked to be fully fenced in, and inside there is a pool table aswell as plenty of seating.

Popped in with the wife and the pooches for a pit stop and decided to have a meal and my goodness we are glad we did it was one of the tastiest meal I've ever had the burger was thick cooked to perfection the chips were amazing big chunky but crispy and fluffy and the peppercorn sauce was full of flavour and lovely heat to it..and the blue cheese in my burger was a quality cheese highly recommended
